Only hitch was with the length of the steel, which they did correct by welding on tabs to each end. Ultimately it was a good job and completed in one day. "I hired Structural Engineering Services to inspect a wall that I wanted to remove between my kitchen and dining room.  I needed an engineer's report in order to pull a permit from my borough to provide proof that the wall is non-load bearing.  I was able to get an appointment in less than a week.  A. Paul showed up on time, was personable, professional, and got straight to work.  He was very thorough, taking almost an hour to inspect, measure, and document, with drawings and photos, the exposed joists and beams under the wall in the basement, the wall in question on the main floor, and the rooms above it on the third floor.  I received the detailed report on the day that he said I would.  I think it was one of the best "hired service" related experiences I've ever had. <br />"
