"I have worked with Stu for nearly 20 years, and during that time he has never failed to meet expectations. If Stu makes a mistake, he takes responsibility for it and corrects the mistake. Stu is an excellent craftsman and takes great pride in his work. Plumbing (that is, piping, exposed or concealed) is not always glamorous but when he is finished, his work is organized, tidy and pleasing to the eye. One example, after he is finished sweating copper pipe, he will take a wet rag and clean the remaining flux on the pipe and joint. I very seldom see other plumbers do this because it takes time, Stu wants his work to look good as well as meet plumbing code. Stu personal ethics and sense of responsibility are extremely high and he carries those standards into the workplace every day. Stu treats everyone with dignity and respect, further reinforcing the value he places on people and relationships. Stu is friendly, easy to talk with and is a great listener. I trust him implicitly and wouldn t hesitate to leave him alone in my home. The construction industry can have a stereotype of workers that are messy, loud, foul mouthed, coarse, unrefined, uneducated, self serving, dishonest, boastful and deceptive. During the years I have known Stu, he has never exhibited any of these characteristics, I have found him to be tidy, calm, considerate, friendly, educated, service orientated, honest, humble and joyful."

"Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

"I had recently moved into a house with my family and had a few relatively easy fixes however, couldn't find the time to take care of them so I hired Countryside to come out and fix them. He did a very good job of explaining the reasons for the repairs, potential issues that might come up down the road with some of the older parts that weren't replaced, and explained how he would fix them as well as these current issues so that I could do them at a later date."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
