"<p>Passow Remodeling has been wonderful to work with during our bath remodel. Ryan Passow and his craftsmen are conscientious, courteous, and very talented. We appreciated the phone calls to affirm their arrival, who would be coming, and what they would do each day. Brian and Teddy solved our problems with a wavy floor and bowed walls to lay our plank tiles precisely and perfectly. John hung doors and Tom and Brian made sure everything was exactly level and correct. Our home is almost forty years old, so things have settled and twisted. It’s a lot bigger job with more tweaking to get tiles, doors, etc. to work.</p> <p>They were also so kind to our Project Supervisor, all 13 lbs. of her dog-self.</p> <p>I would definitely recommend Passow Remodeling for any job: big or small. Their trucks brag that they provide worry-free remodeling; and, it’s true!</p>"

"Same as above. Vendor was prompt ... Showed up as promised and was very professional. He also delivered on the requested work, better than other contractors used in the past. <br />"

"Marcus has a horticulture degree and really understands the science behind landscapes and ground structures.  He prefers to use natural stone on all of his projects, however since I had purchased the manufactured concrete pavers he agreed to use them.  He is good at explaining how his projects are planned, the rational behind the materials he uses, and what options are available.  He and his crew of two were respectful of my property, cleaned up well, and I am happy with their work.  They completed laying out the base material for the 7'X21' patio on a Friday afternoon and completed laying the pavers by early Saturday afternoon."

"The expensive Pella aluminum windows on my home had rotted completely through (this is a known issue with Pella and subject of a class action lawsuit). I contacted Oliva to come and repair or replace the windows. Jim personally did the work, replacing the components that need replacing. He also custom cut and replaced the window trim, replaced the siding that had gone bad and primed all exposed surfaces and sealed all seams. His work was perfect. All corners and cuts fit together tightly. All window parts work perfectly and it's as if I never had the issue to begin with. <br />"

"Both installs went very smoothly and I was impressed by how proficient and clean they were.  They laid dropcloth down on all surfaces that they needed to access, disposed of the old windows, and vacuumed up after they were done.  They even cleaned the new windows.  They were courteous when speaking to me and with each other and were careful not to let my dog out whenever they needed to leave the house.  They had the 6 windows installed in about 4 hours and the other 2 windows were installed in just over an hour.  I look forward to having them return for my next home improvement project."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Rossville, KS

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
