"I wanted to say a few things about this company. My other company sold to Dayco and this is my experience with the HVAC department. I called them because my upstairs unit was making a strange noise. Dakota came out and found the problem. He recommended what was needed and gave me an estimate. He was very professional. Later I spoke with Lane the service manager to ask a few questions. He was extremely helpful and also very professional. So, I will say that my first experience with Dayco was a very positive one. I would recommend anyone to give them a call."

When Steve came out for the quote, he pointed out all of the things that would need to be updated, and didn't try to upsell me on a Platinum or Gold-level solution that honestly made little sense in my small 60s ranch house. The install on my unit was seamless, and significantly faster than I anticipated. "Mr Paze was the only repair service that agreed to come out on a Saturday after 7:00pm . He was very professional and personable. He took my husband down with him to look over what was wrong with our AC unit. He explained everything that needed to be done and what the cost was. After we agreed to the repairs he took care of our problem in no time. We will use his service again if need be. I recommend him highly. He is friendly, efficient and professional. "As I am writing this I realize that I am not completely satisfied with their service other than the tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Initially, I scheduled the appointment for an annual maintenance on our 3 units. On the day of the service their office called about 3 hours into the 4 hour window to inform me they needed to reschedule the appointment. The woman apologetically explained that I was the last appointment of the day, and the job ahead of me ran into a major repair that would run late into the evening. Though I had been inconvenienced by this, I understand these things happen and was still willing to give them a try. When the tech came out the following week, I walked around with him for a bit showing him where to access the units. I explained the air filters had recently been changed except for the one in the attic which he did for me using the filter I had purchased from Home Depot. When I asked him about the condensation hoses for the units in the basement he recommended I put a little bleach in the pump to keep it clean. Is not that something he should do as part of the maintenance I am paying for? I also asked him about cleaning the condenser coils on the outside units. He said he would check to see if they need it, which surprised me because that has always been standard with other companies as well. I had an appointment to go to while the tech was working. My husband was there for the rest of the service. We ended up replacing a capacitor in one of the older units, and the annual maintenance plan seemed like the most economical at $281 for 2 visits a year. But in hindsight I am wondering if it really was worth it."
