"I called St. Paul Pipeworks on a Friday and they came on Monday to replace my water heater. We discussed a regular water heater vs a tankless one. I decided the regular one was what I wanted. The old water heater was 19 years old so it was starting to go as the water was not heating as well. They came on Monday afternoon, early even, and installed the water heater. They also updated the gas shut off valve to the water heater and the shut off valve to the water line to the ice maker. They were efficient and courteous. I have used St. Paul Pipeworks several times before for other plumbing work."

Plumbers own their own business, carry their own health insurance, contibute to their own 401k. carry an inventory, typically have their own truck ( gas, insurance, maintenance, loan payment). So before we, as individuals, say these guys charge too much, we have two choices....learn how to do this ourselves or hire someone who isnt skilled in this trade. I chose to hire a master plumber to get a job done that i couldnt do myself (even though i tried) and am happy with the decision. Read all reviews. ESPECIALLY the bad ones when youre looking to hire a service. Not one bad review on this site states a deficiency in the work Todd performs. Keep that in mind. Will hire again this summer to replace a frost valve that leaks"
