Despite the fact that they were here to clean up bascially messes left by the installers on my HVAC on both AC and furnace, he AGAN went ABOVE and BEYOND when he noticed I was doing my own plumbing project. We had hot water seeping out with our water main shut off on a fixture exchange, and he pointed out we can drain the hot water heater partially to stop this. The last plumber didn't eve care to share this, or even do it. I will not go ANY OTHER PLACE than Service Professor for my plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs. PERIOD. No one else compares!"

"Jason and Joe from ABC Crawlspaces were very professional and responsive. They performed the above repairs in January, 2013. Because of our decision to not install the interior drain the entire length of the wall, we experienced some flooding in one corner of our house with the rains last week.  When we called ABC the day of the flooding, they immediately called back and gave us a quote.  They are here today (on a Saturday), to extend the interior drain.  All of their original repairs performed in January held up during the deluge last week.  In our neighborhood, we had flooded backyards, streets and basements everywhere.  An empty bucket on our deck had 12 inches of water from the rains by us.  We are very thankful and lucky that we had this work done in January, and regret not having the interior drain extended the entire wall back then.  Their work is very professional and clean, leaving no debris or clean-up for us.  We would recommend this company, and will be providing their number to our neighbor and a co-worker, both who experienced horrible flooding last week."

"I have had them for 19 years. I have had a number of issues, primarily with my air conditioning systems. It can be really costly to repair, so I have kept my policy intact. They have also made repairs to my microwave oven, my garage door a couple of times, plumbing, and electrical. They are always there for me and have been pretty responsive to get somebody to come out and fix whatever is broken. It can be as quick as the same day or 2-3 days later, it all depends on when I call and what type of service I am asking for. You have to go through a call center and push this and that. The call center could use some improvement. It's like a robo call. Once you talk to a human, they are pretty professional."

"John called me back within 15 minutes.  He was very helpful and said he could do it but thought it might be better for me to contact someone a little closer.  I think his schedule was pretty full although he didn't say that.  He recommended 2 companies in my area and I ended up hiring one of them to do the work.  I was very pleased with them and they were prompt just like John at Lightning Rod Systems.  I appreciate that he was thinking about what was best for me."

"My husband and I just bought a condo in Chicago and were interested in having some "light" construction and painting done before we moved in as we had about a month between closing and our planned move. We were enticed to use MPO Builders by the Big Deal they were offering and also their A grade. We reached out to the owner, Mike, and he came out to do a quote assessment. Everything seemed great at that point...Mike was on time and responsive. After that, things fell off a little bit. He returned the quote to us more than a week after he promised and became very difficult to get in contact with. We were on somewhat of a tight schedule and his delays were making it tighter. After we reviewed the quote, we communicated to Mike which items we were going to move forward with. Then there was radio silence for a long time. Given the 4th of July weekend fell in that time, but it still was an unacceptable amount of time to wait after multiple emails and voice mails left for Mike. We decided to purchase the Angie's list deal as a way of "prodding" Mike. Finally, we get a response and Mike sends out one of his job managers, Francisco. What a godsend. Francisco is super responsive and, for the most part, has readily communicated with us. Nothing ever runs perfectly, but Francisco and his team have done a great job accommodating our requests and addressing issues that arise. The work is not done just yet (completion date set for 8/1), but we are pleased so far. Ultimately, we decided not to use the Angie's list deal voucher as we were well outside of the amount of work provided in the deal, which is why we requested a refund. But, Mike did honor the approximate amount of the Angie's list discount."
