The basement tested high for molds that some mold that may aggravate the human body senses and respiratory system. We discussed a plan of action including getting our insurance company involved. Evan even presented himself personally at the time of our insurance adjusters appearance to assess the area in concern. Dri Right is very knowledgeable and straightforward on what has to be done and how to remediate the area in question. Evan did not waste anytime in getting started and working with us within the timeline of finding which items we could keep. One word of caution, in your insurance policy, make sure you have content damage recovery in the mold coverage clause. If you do not they will cover cost of remediation but not the contents and therefore you will have to work on your taxes to see if you can claim a substantial loss of contents. Dri Right Restoration was very concerned and forthright in their dealing and easy to communicate with and take your personal feeling into consideration as well as hard calls one has to make with mold remediation. The people he had working for him as well were considerate and cordial making those hard decisions easier. We highly recommend Dri Right Restoration. "Previously I had an older cat who went through a traumatic experience(!) and began urinating in several rooms. I thought about changing the carpet before she died and called Floor Coverings International, but Jonathan suggested I wait, as anything I put down would get ruined and need to be replaced. I really appreciated that advice and decided to use FCI in the future.

The day came when my cat died. I had thought I would put down hardwood floors, and called FC. Jonathan came out, showed me wood samples and worked with me. What we learned was that I had had hardwood floors installed incorrectly in my kitchen previously. Tiles had been taken out, but instead of scraping the mud down to the slab, more mud was added which raised the height of the floor higher than the rest of the house. This meant I'd have to take out the relatively new kitchen floor, possibly ruining my new cabinets.  I couldn't see my way through this until Jonathan suggested perhaps I think about carpet instead. He then sat through my decision making about colors and type of carpet, which would probably have daunted a lesser person! But he was patient and saw me through the process,  getting me samples to see in my house. When the day came to install the pad and carpet, they also sealed the areas where my cat had urinated, to make sure there were no residual effects or seepage into the slab. I couldn't be happier with the result. The men who worked in my house were great, Jonathan was great, Steve, the job supervisor was great. I can't say enough about this company. I can't recommend them more highly. I would use them again in a flash, only I think they did such a good job, I won't need them for a long, long time."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
