"Renovation began 5/13/2013. Estimated to be a 4 week job. Work ended 10/25/2013. There were many delays due to their family illness and material orders taking twice as long as expected. The tile work was sub-standard and had to be redone. The tile redo was not much better than the original, uneven grout lines, irregular cuts and wavy walls. I would not use them to do tile work again. I would not use them at all because the distance (Brownwood to Abilene) seemed to be an inhibitor to their punctuality."

"Very well. DeLaughter Services stays very busy. The wet weather this spring has caused numerous delays for all tentatively scheduled work. I was very happy with the work & it was completed before the weather became extremely hot. <br />"

"I was very pleased with them they were very professional and respectful. When working on my bathroom they were very respectful of my roommate who was in the w/c and could only use that bathroom and would pull back to allow her accesses and when the door wasn't ready they cleaned the area and left it in functional conditions. <br /> When working on the porch they were very respectful and made sure the gates were closed so my dogs had access t the backyard with safety. They also kept me informed and gave me options when a scheduling conflict occurred i was asked if i didn't mind it sitting for 2 days , or if i wanted them to return after 5 pm each night. <br /> I would definitely ask them back and even use them as a reference for work they don't do. I am a widow but they didn't treat me like i was a dumb woman , but made sure i knew and understood why and what they were doing"

"We have two lights on some masonry in front of the house. One of them was knocked off and broken in a windstorm. It hadn't worked in a while, so we had Paul check the electrical work on the light as well. Paul found the problem (junction box had ants in it), reset the light and fixed the mortarwork holding the light into place. Some spot welding was required as well. As always, Paul was accommodating and thorough."

"He got back to us in a timely manner. He did good work for us as well. He was very nice to go shopping for us to find the shower seat that we needed. It folds back into the wall when we aren't using it. It made the shower much safer for us. He also did a good job cleaning up after himself. In general he was a nice man."

"He came back right after Thanksgiving to finish up because I had a lot of different things for him to do for me. <br /> He did some tile work in the bathroom that the other guy had done that I'd thought had done a great job. Come to find out that the tile was pulling out because, he put a seat in the bathroom for me, the first guy, and when he did it, he only went into one 2x4. He got some lumber, I don't know what he got, we couldn't figure out where he got it from. It wasn't termite free and termites got back in there to it because the water, the tile started coming loose and termites got back in there. I had to have a man come from the termite exterminators come out and do some work and then we just had Mr. Nash to put another 2x4 back in there. So, when we put a seat back in for my husband to sit on while he was showering, that it wouldn't pull out and he put the tile back on the wall and filled it real good for me. Then he put some faucets in the house. He put up some grab bars for my husband. He did a whole bunch of work around here, I had done. <br /> I thought he did good and he guarantees his work. He broke a tile and he told me and my husband that he would come back and put in a new tile because he didn't want water getting back there and leaking. So, he came back and put a tile in that wasn't broken. I thought he was, he was a very nice person. I real nice person and a real good worker. He brought his own workman with him and the 2 of them worked here. They did good work. I can't find fault with what he did. I was just so glad I had him. And he fixed the tile so that I don't have to worry about the grout coming out, because I worried about that. Since I'm the caregiver here I need all the help I can get. He is very good, I don't think you will find anybody better around town. <br /> He would call and let me know he was coming so I could be looking for him and let him in. He was very courteous."

"Air Conditioning went out during the night. I called Advanced One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning when they opened at 8am and the technician Steven Elliott arrived at 8:45. The problem turned out to be a blown capacitor on the outside unit. Apparently this is a common problem. Steve replaced the capacity and ran a system test and was done by 10 which included a trip to the warehouse for parts. I was impressed with the prompt service and professionalism, especially since we are in a record heat wave."
