"In December 2025, I hired Campbell Furniture Restoration to completely refurbish an antique curio cabinet. However, all that seems to have been done was a hasty cleaning and a cheap strip & finish. There is a number of issues that were given little or no consideration. Curio door is misaligned and scrapes against the bottom, wearing away finish. Furniture backing not repaired/replaced, with one panel still loose and unsecured. Wheels still stiff with dirt, grime, and rust, so they don't roll easily. Lock assembly that was missing wasn't replaced, was told to find one myself. Inside of drawers still dirty with glitter and gunk stuck to them. Minor issue, but shows lack of attention to detail. Finish chosen is glossy and looks cheap and plasticky, despite being an antique and asked to keep natural look. When I raised concerns, Mr. Campbell did offer to do some of the work, but I've opted not to accept his offer due to a lack of confidence in his workmanship."
