"Steve is a very talented wood craftsman who can generate many options for any need.  When we contacted him at Steve's Woodworks / Hill Country Stairs about a few potential projects for our home, he and his wife, Darci, responded <br /> quickly and set up an appointment for us on the day we selected.  Afterward, he transformed two areas of our <br /> home.  First, he created floor-to-ceiling bookshelves along two walls in our study, creating a custom library area that <br /> even included a hidden, ?secret? compartment. He smoothly incorporated all of our input at every step of the way and, <br /> due to his expertise, the final product proved to be much better than we could have imagined.  <br />  The second area of our home that Steve improved was our laundry room.  After considering our small room with its <br /> limited storage capacity, Steve created three improvements.  He identified a significant area of otherwise ?wasted? space behind one wall and built a large, custom cabinet that fit precisely inside it, allowing our detergent, etc., to get out of sight.  Next, he installed a laundry chute from our second floor into another custom cabinet in our laundry room, allowing our <br /> children to avoid walking down the stairs while carrying laundry.  Finally, he accommodated our request for <br /> laundry drying racks by installing two large dowels, one across each of two other walls in the laundry room.  <br /> Together, these three improvements have made our weekly laundry duties much more efficient ? anyone interested can find photos of this and our bookcases project on Steve?s blogspot. <br />  Beyond these projects, Steve was always willing to provide friendly and helpful advice on how we might approach other projects around the house.  Throughout our time together, he always demonstrated an exceptionally good work ethic and he was always pleasant.  We already have a few more projects in mind and will not hesitate to contact Steve to begin work on them when we are ready.  We highly recommend his work. <br />"

"Philip did an excellent job of matching the existing bathroom vanity and installing 20+ ShelfGenie pull out drawers in our kitchen. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is a nice person, pleasant to visit with while doing his work. He comes out after the work has been planned by ShelfGenie to get detailed measurements for ShelfGenie to build from. He receives the completed order from ShelfGenie and does the installation. It took him just a day to do our complete installation. He is organized, efficient, and very thorough with his clean up. He vacuums inside each cabinet and pull out shelf as he completes his work. We recommend Philip (Hendrick Quality Craftsmanship) and will use him should we have future need for cabinet work. Note: the cost of service below was his charge for converting the knee space in the bathroom vanity to take 4 ShelfGenie drawers. The cost of installing the ShelfGenie pull out shelves in the kitchen was included in the ShelfGenie cost."
