"Roberto took care of or lawn maintenance at our previous home. We bought a new home (new construction) in Discovery Bay. We had him give us an estimate to landscape the entire backyard and side yard. His estimate was VERY AFFORDABLE! We agreed and he and his crew started that next Monday. Roberto and his crew are punctual, clean, honest, respectful and the hardest working crew we’ve ever came across. We had concrete poured, sod installed, added drainage throughout, irrigation and so much more. Entire project took 3 weeks!! AMAZING!! I loved coming home and seeing so much progress done everyday. "Raz and his crew at Brother and Brother exceeded our expectations. They got the job done within the stated timeline which was key. The price was the best quoted and the quality of the finished product is excellent! It was easy to communicate via text or call, what we wanted and expected. If we had any questions on materials or any changes to be made, they were quick to respond at any time, day or night. The whole crew was polite and easy to work with. Being that the job was the kids' bathroom remodel, they kept the worksite clean everyday after they were done. They adjusted the mirror to accommodate the faucet and gave suggestions to the paint and glass tile niche when we were unsure. Again, their timeliness was spot on; they started the job right away and finished on time. They had permits and inspections planned to very well, and we were notified well in advance when to expect any visits. "I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

"Nato had previously done landscaping work for us in our front yard, and we always intended to have him do the back. We called him to come over for an estimate and he arrived promptly and gave us a verbal estimate. He is as good as his word. When the extent of the job changed (we added some extras), the bid changed appropriately. The crew was quiet (no loud radios or shouting), prompt, and hardworking. They persevered despite downpours of rain! And the fence is an absolutely beautiful work of art constructed from scratch and embellished with lots of high-end extras. "We found Federal Paving Systems and Jose Argueta through Angie's List. Jose was formerly with a different paving company in San Leandro, so some of his references were found there. Of the three bids we received, Federal was the best, so that, combined with excellent references here, gave Federal the job. Jose Argueta is the point man and Construction Manager for Federal. We have nothing but praise for his responsiveness and professionalism during this whole process. The job was completed over about four working days, and Jose was on site a good portion of the time directing the work of others, as well as cutting and laying pavers."
