"I called in Steve Gross, he was out to my home within 2 hours, and within 1 hour of using his special gas detection technique he found that this was not a leak, but a "leach". All those years of valve leak had created a mass of water under my home, and the dug pit provided egress for the trapped water. He also found a dead sprinkler solenoid in the front yard and a dead R/O system in the kitchen. Definitely one of the better calls I have made as a homeowner, saved me a bunch on plumbers fees. Steve is a meticulous expert."

"Alvin was careful to explain prior to starting work that if he required extra supplies, etc it would be on top of the Angie's price. Also, that there was the possibility that it would not be a simple replacement. I expected that. The replacement turned out to be more complicated than I'd anticipated.
The plumbing pipes for hose bibbs are installed between the vertical studs. There is supposed to be a horizontal cross brace that secures the "inside" part of the bibb  with 2 screws into the wood. Turns out, when the house was built in 1997, no cross bracing was added inside the wall, so the unsupported pipe had been shifting each time we turned the faucet on or off for the past 17 years. So, when he went to remove the outside portion, instead of "unthreading" as it should have,  the copper pipe broke off at the joint inside the wall. In order to complete the repair, Alvin needed to make an access port on the interior wall. He very carefully sawed an 8x8" piece out of the drywall, added a wood cross brace to the existing framing, secured the plumbing pipe to it, then attached the new hose bibb on the outside. After completing the repair, he carefully re-fitted the piece to the wall and used some caulk I had to cover the seam.
We were charged only for the difference in supplies, not for the additional time involved, which I was grateful for. I was also relieved that we had decided to have this done. I hate to think about some day going out to turn the hose on or off and have a fountain inside the wall.

"They were extremely thorough.  They rented a special machine to 'scrub' the air and clean out the mold once and for all.  I needed to leave the house for 48 hours and also remove my indoor cats.  Initially they thought my goldfish would be okay so we left  her in the house.  When it was evident that she wouldn't be all right they took her out of the tank, put her in a 5 gallon tank that I had and put her in the safest part of the house.
When they came back a few days later to check how everything was one of the cats got into the crawl space.  I wasn't home and they were worried about the cat's safety.  They waited until she came out even though they had to stay and extra hour or so.

"I seldom write reviews but when you find a great professional plumbing contractor at a great price, you have to share the information. Jake and his team are amazing. I was scheduled for out patient surgery the morning I called him. I was desperate to get my kitchen sink unclogged so I could take care of myself while healing. Jake and his team already had their day booked but worked me into the schedule while working around my surgery schedule. He was able to clear the kitchen clogged drain by removing and replacing pipes and using equipment to clear the clog deep down in the pipes. His team also fixed the toilet that was rocking and starting to leak (it no longer rocks or leaks!), and fixed a faucet that was barely producing any water flow. Jake and his team are not only professional but they are the kind of people you are happy to have in your home. They saved the day and were so affordable compared to other plumbers in the market place. They cleaned up after they completed their work. Jake will be performing my yearly maintenance on my air conditioner / heating system. You will love this company.
