"Excellent customer service!! The garage door spring broke Thursday night and Shelly called Friday morning to see if my car was stuck inside the garage. It was outside so they came on Saturday when I was off work to let them in and Craig was on time and very friendly and professional."

"Technician KC came in with a smile and left with one, what a pleasant young man. Right to the point of finding our trouble quickly. He educated us on what to do in the future and owner maintenance. He repaired a safety issue and lubricated all that he could. The door works as it never has in our ownership, great! The home was pressure washed, then the garage door quit working...apparently the outdoor receptacle got moist and tripped the GFI outlet, flipping at the power box did no good to reset it. We didn't know we had a GFI in the garage...KC popped it and the motor came right on...OKAY! A+ for this company with their customer service! I will recommend them to all my neighbors! Thanks for your great response also."

"Fantastic service!!.  Garage door jumped off track and got stuck midway open. I could not drive my car out of the garage nor could I close my garage door.  Called Mr. Randy and explained what had happened.  Mr. Randy switched one of his appointments so that he could repair my garage door today. His next available appointment would have been on Sat morn, May 22,  which meant, that my garage door would have remained stuck in an open position all night and part of the next day. He called back when he said he would. Arrived at my home on time and  repaired my garage  door in a couple of hours.  He kept me informed of any issues that occurred  while working on the garage door.  He put back everything he had removed from the garage to work on the door and cleaned up his work area.  His costs were very reasonable.  He warranties his work. He and his  Assistant  were very courteous and very professional.  I am very happy with the work Mr. Randy did on my garage door.  I highly recommend Mr. Randy and would use his service again. <br />"

"I reached out to Blaine Construction in a panic over my cabinet doors as they were done incorrectly by another company and I was in the process of listing my home for rent. They came out same day and got measurements, told me it was an easy fix and built and installed custom doors in about a week and a half. I’m very thankful for them and their customer service! Would absolutely hire them again!"

"Called another company on Angie's List with 49 "A's" and a Superior Service rating. Had to talk to four different staff to finally get an appointment. Very dissatisfied. Called Tyler at Hilton Head Garage Door and got immediate, helpful advice before anyone even came out...which was the next day. Serviced by Mike, who did a stellar job and has an awesome work ethic. To register the door opener he even circled the website on the front of the manual, circled the model number, added the serial number, and added the "S.O. number." I've never had that kind of service. To register a product the buyer is almost always on their own. Awesome company!"

"We would not recommend - the best priced quote is not always the best: <br /> Even though the company says they will cover the Beaufort area, we got the feeling that they preferred not to install windows here  If our property was in the Savannah area, we may have had a different experience. <br /> It was tough getting the office to return our phone calls.  Why so much advertising if your office personnel can?t handle it?? Decrease the advertising budget a bit and hire an additional assistant. <br /> The salesperson is a bit negative, but he does appear to know his stuff.  In April, after getting several other quotes, we choose this company because the price was right and they seemed to understand what we wanted and needed compared to the other quotes. <br /> We scheduled installation for September, and were told to follow-up in late July to ensure our window order goes in (thinking back, red flag - why wouldn?t they have just called me in July?) <br /> Contacted them in late July, and after a few weeks of back and forth run-around, we were told they couldn?t do our windows due to a lawsuit with Home Depot with our HOA.  Our HOA has no knowledge of a lawsuit with Home Depot and Window World never even contacted them.  I'm guessing this was just their story to back out from doing work in our area; we wish they would just not quote and schedule installations if they don't want to do work here.  <br /> This review is based on our experience with service only, and not the actual product. <br />"

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Savannah, GA

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
