"When we came back from a trip, one of our two Carrier heat pumps was not cooling.  Justin diagnosed the problem and repaired it.  He gave us a discount because we are Angie's List members.  He noted that the same problem could arise in the other heat pump.  A few days later, the same heat pump was not working.  Justin came back and found a capacitor had gone out.  He charged us just for the capacitor and nothing for the labor.  Again, we received the Angie's List discount.  Two weeks later, we had a complete "tune-up" on both of our heating and cooling units.  Ernest applied the same preventative measures on our second heat pump as Justin had done on the first one, so there would be little or no chance of a leak in the refrigerant line.  There was no cost for the tune-up, as we had already paid for the annual inspection.

"Prior "tune up" service provider apparently messed up the hvac and then tried to sell me a replacement scenario over $3000 or a new unit for over $4000.  Next Service guy, as above noted, explained all the problems and the disconnected wiring left by the prior folks, and said it could be fixed for around $200, but it cost $410 as indicated above.  I do not think he arbitrarily increased his bill--just found more stuff that needed fixing than originally contemplated, and had to make a second trip out with one of the parts needed.

I received a call from Tasco the morning after I purchased the deal to schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, Laine Houston (VP of the company) promptly contacted me to advise me they were running a bit behind because of some emergency calls they received. He continued to update me throughout the day to inform me of when the technician would be on his way. Erick, the technician, arrived quickly and diagnosed and fixed the problem. He gave me an assessment of the issue and provided me with options for future repairs of my unit. I was not pressured to purchase unnecessary services or accessories. This is the second time I use Tasco and both times I have been more than satisfied with the work performed and customer service provided. They are knowledgeable and honest as to what needs to be done and their pricing is more than reasonable. "Contacted energy attic usa for information on their products and received an abundance of help from two very kind and friendly people- Kent and Amy.  They are a husband and wife team that take great pride in what they do, the american made products that they use, and in customer satisfaction.  I had many questions that related to my existing air conditioning unit and ductwork and Kent was more than happy to answer ALL of my questions!  I had originally planned to be home on the day of the scheduled install, but an emergency came up with one of their employees and so they had to reschedule the work at my house.  I was not happy because I wanted to be at home when the work took place and could not take off from work.  Kent understood and gave me his word that he would stay at my house and oversee the work until everything was completed.   Overall, I was very happy that I used this company and would recommend them to anyone else.  They displayed quality work and to my delight- left all the areas where they had worked clean!  Cynthia
