"TLDR: This is a great plumbing company and Harris is my current go-to trustworthy plumber. I highly recommend you give HG a call for an estimate if you need plumbing work. I really loved all the work, and I'm rather difficult to please. My experience (over last few months in 2024): HG Plumbing installed our new hot SS water storage tank, a new toilet for a 1/2 bath, and a LG steam washer and dryer (GAS) in our new laundry room. Harris also added a new dryer exhaust vent to bring us up to code, which was quite tricky due to the how the old (incorrect) vent was run, and he came up with a great customized solution for us, which none of the other three plumbers I met with suggested. 10/10 on ALL the work. Harris and his team was on time, easy to communicate with (text/phone/email--he responds to everything!), PROFESSIONAL, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Plumbing on the North Shore feels very expensive and HG prices are actually reasonable for the area, especially considering the excellent quality of the services. Invoices are up front and clear and Harris is extremely knowledgable, personable and easy to talk to (answered all my questions and concerns--and had many). We discussed whole house water filtration and few other upgrades done the line, and Harris is an amazing resource on all things plumbing and local/code issues. For those with MCS or healthy home concerns: I have sensitivities to many home improvement odors/chemicals and Harris was very understanding and respectful of this. Even the caulk he used was low VOC and finished off gassing extremely quickly. Normally I take 3-4 estimates before committing for non-emergency/maintenance work, but from now on I'm just calling HG. Done right is everything in plumbing and much more cost effective in the long run."

"I had a terrible leak in my bathrooms in a 60 year old home. Mike over at Tumminello's quoted me an all-in price. Mike immediately realized I needed the lead pipes leading up to my toilet replaced. I knew as soon as Mike described what he wanted to do that is what I waned. Mike gave me an alternative, but I went with the full replacement choice. The other plumbers I called could only give me an hourly rate. The two guys that came to my home, Matt and Ryan, were very friendly and respectful. The work was quoted and done quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I had 2 toilets installed and leak fixed. I had my lead bends replaced; both leaked; both definitely needed replacement. Mike was very flexible on whether I wanted to install my own toilets or if I wanted him to pick them up. I told him the toilet that I was looking at, and he told me he could get a quote on a similar toilet. He saved me from having to order the toilet, and waiting a week over at HD or Lowe's. He called me back in about 10 minutes, we agreed on a toilet. My elderly father then decided he wanted his toilet changed too. I called Mike, and someone else answered, I told them I wanted to add a toilet, but with a rounded shape. The next day, Matt and Ryan arrived with both toilets. They did a great job on the toilets and the leak. I'm doing more work to my plumbing, and will definitely be using Tumminello Plumbing and Heating again. "They are weak in trouble shooting and providing clear recommendations due to which we incurred significant costs. It’s sad to give your business to a company wherein you spend $2000 on a repair only to be told 72 hours later you need to replace the entire furnace. No appreciation for customer loyalty or that during COVID some refund should have been provided. Instead they did not take any ownership for it. Furnace was only 13 yrs old and they did the maintainence on it for 10 of those years. We lost our heating one say and they suggested the furnace required a new inducer and mother board for $2000. We went with that repair only to find out 72 hours later our heating stopped again abs this time it was found our heat exchanger was leaking water. Anyway nothing good comes out of taking undue advantage of people. The lesson here is try to find a company that has expertise in your brand of furnace. We later researched and found out our furnace was known to have heat exchanger issues. This company only has knowledge on the brand of furnace they install. Everything is else you as the customer do at risk as they will not take any accountability of their repairs don’t work. I have never come across a company like this one."
