"They came out for a $99 roof inspection but it hardly covered anything, they just came out looked at it and gave their evaluation and recommended repairs and gave us an estimate for those. It was okay but I just thought we would get more for what we paid for. Wasn't really a deal. The $99 was really just a we'll come out and look at it, didn't cover any repairs or anything. "We waited to review our project 1 year after completion to be sure that all was well. We are very pleased with the final result. Our only mishap was having miscommunications with B&B when we requested follow up 4 months after project completion – our issues were resolved with a factory representative. No hard feelings. How It Went- Workers were professional and competent. Building on an existing slab is extremely challenging – because the slab slopes away and down from the house – 2 angles that need to be countered when leveling windows and doors etc. When corrective rework was needed (to compensate for a 2 inch site deviation) the team didn’t hesitate and B&B came up with an excellent solution. We retained the exterior stucco exterior of our house for the room and they finished the wall beautifully – it required a lot of fine and patient work. We asked for an 18 inch deep exterior pad – which accommodates a doormat and our foot print. It was done this way – although there was initial push back on this request. We also involved our own electrician, who is familiar with this old house – and we came up with an elegant solution to connect to our home. After project closure, we delayed evaluation until things settled out. Over the next few months, some of the sliding windows became increasingly difficult to open and close – and during an extremely fierce and long rainstorm we experienced a leak coming from one corner of the enclosure. We immediately spoke with B&B. With miscommunications with B&B, we resolved our issues with a factory representative in a single short visit: they added weep holes to the exterior, caulked, replaced a window roller and adjusted windows and the screen doors. We are very pleased with the final result. And so are our kitties."

He was very friendly, courteous, and took his time explaining exactly what he recommended and what he was going to do. We felt very comfortable with him and could tell that he had a lot of experience. He gave us several options and we chose what worked for us. The next day he came back with another technician and all of the materials and started the work. They took a lot of time making sure to cover and protect our floors and furniture. "Well, My poor review is for the Price, and a bit for the quality.

I was charged $750 for the work provided above.   On the surface the cost could somehow be reasonable, if

(1)  Access to the gas line was difficult; it was not. 
  - The gas line was sticking out of a wall, with  ZERO obstruction 30 inches to right, 30 inches to left, and 40 inches above.  Floor was clear. 
(2) There was massive rerouting needed.
 - There was not, the gas line simply went down and do the left, closer to a stud. 
(3) Don't know what else.

The plumber did measure against my new range;  HOWEVER, the range was open, and in an open space.  I can understand paying a few extra, maybe 75 max for that.

Finally, I wouldn't have left a poor review, if it wasn't for the fact that I woke up the next morning to a cold shower.  My fault, I guess as the gas line was shut off.  HOWEVER, for the price I paid, I would have expected quality to the point where some sort of checklist of things that need to reconciled after the work was completed.  Really, for that price, I should have had the water heater pilot restarted, perhaps even installed.

I don't want to take away from the professionalism of the plumber though. He was very polite, nice, and easy to talk to.

These are all based on my perception of what the cost of this work should be. 

The plumber was on my service call for < 3 hours, to include having left for 30 minutes to go somewhere.  $750/3 = $250 per hour, with potentially 30$ in parts.

Grading, dirt removal fee, sprinkler repair fees etc.Display book with different types of plants so customer gets some input, otherwise the consumer has no idea what they will be getting.Take into consideration, HOA guidelines, such as height of plants and root systems. Explain procedure so customer knows exactly what to expect. Overall, better communication."
