"The entire process for dealing with Westside was very smooth, and I would not hesitate to use them again.  The office staff is professional, and it was easy to schedule a visit where Alan came to our house and diagnosed the problem.  We were able to schedule it efficiently.  Jose was the primary person who performed the work, and he was professional, careful, and thorough. 
There was a very severe thunderstorm last night, and we didn't experience the leak that had been persistent and bothersome over the past few months.  We were impressed with the team at Westside.

"When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."

"We got our basement finished by Remodeling Concepts in June-Aug
2015. To start this project we looked through Angie?s list to find out
contractors in our area who had completed similar projects with good reviews.
We asked almost 5 contracts to come over and give us estimates. The estimate
from Remodeling Concepts was not the lowest but was reasonable compared to the
others. The main factor for selection was Derek?s approach, his willingness to
offer ideas and suggestions and his flexibility. The major capital improvement
project such as this was enough cause for anxiety but Derek?s approach to the
project put us immediately at ease. He was very understanding, flexible and accommodating
to some of the changes as the project started taking shape. His has a skilled,
efficient and reliable group of individuals who worked through the project to
bring it to completion. He makes sure he comes over to oversee the progress
everyday and make adjustments as needed to ensure the project is completed flawlessly.
The project largely ran on schedule and he was very accommodating to include
additions we had not thought of in the beginning for reasonable additional cost.
Our project included a full bath, a home entertainment system installation all
of which his team completed without any problem. Derek?s reassuring attitude
and flexibility were most helpful to put our mind at ease through this major
home improvement project. Post completion of the project he has been accessible
and willing to come over to attend to any follow ups.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"I could not recommend Harold's Enterprises more highly. I reached out to Harold based on his listing on Angie's List before I bought my home--free of charge, he took a look at the roof on a property I was considering buying--giving me an estimate and advice. His help led me to find that the sellers were dishonest about the condition of and work done on their roof, and I purchased a different property in Hudson, NY. My home is a 1927 Craftsman that needed quite a bit of work. I hired Harold based on his honesty and responsiveness in helping me evaluate the first property. True to form, his estimate and ultimate cost to repaint the entire interior, repair and sheetrock floors and ceilings, refinish and replace hardwood floors, completely remodel a bathroom, rewire and install light fixtures, match original woodworking, install cabinetry, windows, and appliances, and even assist with installing new furniture, were more than reasonable. Better yet, the quality of his work was of the highest caliber. He has restored and improved a lovely home, and I am so thankful! I have to say that most of all, I am so happy with Harold's professionalism and diligence. Not every contractor is known for staying on the job and completing it on time. Especially in my situation, where I am a single woman trying to restore a second home when I live out of state--I assumed I would have difficulty in getting any contractor to be present and complete the job on time. However, this was never a problem. Harold was always there, was immediately responsive, and never slacked off when I wasn't there. I plan to work with Harold as much as possible in the future as I continue to improve my Hudson home. I recommend him very highly."

"Installation and product quality are definitely A rated. The back office staff, clerical personnel and sales staff are far less satisfactory. Try them anyway. If you can get through their annoyingly incompetent telephone and clerical performance, you will probably be very pleased with your results. Installation guys were really professional and very neat, clean thorough."
