"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Joe was polite, knowledgable and had a good demeanor which led to us hiring him for our electrical work more than once. Unfortunately, all three times, certain aspects of the job weren't finished. The first two times, we didn't have an issue with it, as the work he completed had been done well. This time in particular, we paid for a full day (with two electricians) and discussed upfront what needed to be done, but at the end of it all, after collecting payment, we were told that the job wasn't complete and would require additional time rather nonchalantly. This was very disappointing and in my opinion unprofessional. We absolutely believe in paying for a job well done, but we work just as hard for our money as anyone else. If there were concerns or issues with completing the job, we should have been told. We would have adjusted priorities and re-caliberated our expectations. They did try to make up some of the lost time which was nice (we lost a few hours because some of the work they did needed to be re-done due to incorrect wiring the first time) but we still weren't able to accomplish what was agreed to. The cleanup process was sub-standard and overall, unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. We will now have to hire someone to complete the work."

"Everyone, from initial analysis to job completion, was professional, courteous, and exceptionally friendly within the constraints of the COVID19 situation. They did our job the day before lockdown and provided masks for themselves and us, even though the masks were not a recommended precaution yet. They did not over-promise any dollar amount savings; they only guaranteed that we would feel more comfortable or they would come back until we did. And we do. All the other insulating and heating measures we've taken - including a gas fireplace, new windows, thermal curtains and lots of rugs - never gave us the level of comfort that we have now. There have been a couple of minor issues regarding tape that didn't stick, and John was immediately responsive; at first porch-delivering a new roll of tape for us to try ourselves. When that didn't work, he scheduled someone to come by the next day to work on it, but for our safety and theirs, we asked him to hold off until after the lockdown is lifted. We have NO DOUBTS that John will do what he said he would. If Global Dwelling provided another service that we needed, we would not hesitate to hire them again."
