"Dustin C. @ DaBella Boise helped us choose the right windows for our application and personally monitored progress from order to completion. The finished product looks great, but the best part is instantly seeing and feeling the difference between modern tech vs. 40y old aluminum framed windows. No more drafts or condensation! Thanks DaBella!"

"Contacted 800 number and got appointment two days later. Daniel arrived on scheduled day, right on time. Got up in attic to look at what was exiting, came down and told me what they could do. Measured square footage of home and gave me four options/estimates. 1 @ R-38, 1@R-49, 1@R-57, and 1 over garage @R-19 which would not be covered by any rebates. Selected R-49 for home and R-19 for garage. Next day I got another estimate from a competitor the following day. The competitor estimate was $400 higher for same work. Called SunRoc back to accept and they gave me an install date and time. Installers arrived as scheduled and did exactly per contract. I did not have any problems with this company and would recommend them."

"Overall, I give WBM a big thumbs up. They were the only company out of the half dozen or so that we had look at the attic mold for estimates that recommended solution which would actually solve the mold problem, instead of just put a band-aid on it. <br /> They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive, but for what I paid, I know that the job was done right and I am confident that the mold has been taken care of. As part of the mold remediation work, they had to strip off the roof down to the rafters in some portions in order to remove the underlayer of plywood. They also added a few more vents to improve the circulation in the attic, which was the root of the problem due to the shallow pitch of the roof. <br /> Since I was selling the house as a result of a relocation, I had to work with them from long distance, so I needed to be able to trust them. As a result my real estate agent was my main interface with them, and I was immediately put at ease that they were the real deal and were actually doing the work we contracted them to do. <br /> All of their staff are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly and they do make an effort to return telephone calls and return emails in a timely fashion. <br /> I definitely recommend giving WBM a call when you need any kind of mold remediation work done. They provide high quality service and I trust them with their work. <br />"

"This is the third time we have used this contractor in 15 years.  We live high in the mountains and the winters are very h****** the houses, lots of snow.  Jack and his crew are very professional.  Keeps a clean worksite, uses good materials, sets a time for the work and keeps to the schedule.  Calls in advance to insure all is o.k., communication is great.  Know what they are going to do and when it going to be done.  I highly recommend this vendor. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Shelley, ID

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
