"Although they provide a time frame for service, frequently they are late or have to re-schedule. When ARS installed my furnace, they provided a humidifier as well. However, the humidifier is not included in the maintenance contract, and any work or filter change on the humidifier is extra. The cost is almost as much as the maintenance contract. They used to answer the phone asking how they could provide exceptional service. No longer do they ask that. Makes sense, because they do not provide exceptional service. Also, the technician seems to want to convince you to buy additional equipment, which may or may not be needed."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Aire Serv of Martinsburg! Their customer service was amazing. The owner, Jim, takes the lead and is available every step of the way which is incredible in itself. They communicate by phone, email, text, the app (Home Advisor in my case) whichever is most convenient for the customer which, as a full-time work from home person now, is invaluable. They send a picture of the technician in advance, send reminders, and the person who assessed the problem was the one who came back to fix it (once the part was in) which is preferable in my experience but rarely the case these days. Burt, our technician, was quiet but professional and so so helpful through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and honestly. He did what they promised and all he could to ensure my problem was resolved and that I was satisfied with the results. He also practiced COVID safety measures with masks and distancing, as appropriate, as well. Also, they offered to come out the same day if needed (knowing my 78 year old dad was in the home) and at no extra charge! Our blower motor went out so our AC and Heat weren't circulating. It was the first night it was going to be down to the 40's too, of course. Found out their service call costs are the same weekdays or weekends! That's impressive in itself. (Who does that now a days?? They do ?) Aire Serv of Martinsburg's customer service alone is a reason to highly recommend them but their quality of work, honesty in pricing, excellent communication and focus on good work at an honest price seals the deal! "Thor Contracting did not perform the service. The HVAC specialist left the company and works independently. Through the assistance of Angle's List, I was able to contact him and have the service performed. Even though he no longer worked for Thor Construction he honored the special deal. He was very knowledgeable about the system."

The contractor wore a face mask at all times and we had a completely contact-less visit (including the bill payment - we were able to "sign" via our own devices).
