"We had a leak in our water pipe. We first called Tom Drexler on October 16. They could not find the leak. After several service calls, they sent out Jeremy on November 18.. He put a temporary clamp on the pipe to stop the leak and came back four days later to replace the pipe. He was very knowledgeable and professional and got the job done. Thank you Jeremy U. He got the job done!"

"Ronnie has done work for us several times.  He has run a new line for a pool, replaced soft copper gas lines in our basement, installed proper shutoffs for fireplaces and most recently installed a dryer gas line.  The workers are great: prompt, courteous, pleasant and neat. I am always pleased with how quickly they complete a job. <br />"

"I had received a flyer from Graham which described their philosophy, which I liked. So decided to give them a call. I had water on the floor of a small bathroom that had wet the carpet in an adjoining bedroom. I couldn't identify the source and my house is on a concrete slab with water pipes under the concrete. Sam Graham responded pretty quickly and spent about 45 minutes analyzing the potential sources of the problem and how to fix it. I trailed along with him and he didn't seem annoyed by that-I was impressed with how he analyzed the situation. He finally said he couldn't specifically identify the source but thought it was unusual that water would appear on the surface since pipes are below concrete. He thought the problem was probably under the sink vanity where the pipes come up through the concrete to the sink faucets. He said he could remove the vanity to verify that as the source but, if it wasn't, he would have to search more. Therefore, he suggested going into the wall(s), capping off the copper pipes, replacing with PEX pipes, and rerouting PEX pipes through walls rather than up through the concrete. Because of the layout of the pipes, his men had to cut through the wall of an adjoining closet, jack hammer concrete across the floor, cut into the wall of the adjoining bedroom and route the new pipes to the sink faucet and toilet. Once the new pipes were laid into the jack-hammered trench, the men reconcreted the floor. Since Graham's doesn't to remodeling, I hired a construction company to repair the walls. During that work, they found water damage to the vanity cabinet and removed it to replace it with a new vanity. Under the vanity was standing water, which validated Sam's initial thought that the leak was under the vanity. Graham's repair took care of the issue and I've not had a leak there since."

"We bought a house and discovered it had a gas dryer.  We had the plumber cap off the gas line to be able to install our dryer, which is electric.  Then had them check the line to the gas logs in the fire place and show us how that operates as this is the first we have ever had gas in the house.  Very quick on the line cap, and very willing to take time to talk about how to operate the gas logs, and show how easy it would be to put a new set in ourselves in the future.  Called on Monday and they set the appointment for 8:30 Wednesday.  Only reason they get a B on punctuality is they arrived at 9, but that might be due to the rain we've had which might have caused some traffic delay, but is still good.  Also took the time to discuss some down the road projects as far as cost.  Great experience.  We will definitely use this provider again. <br />"

"The work was done quickly and efficiently, he answered my questions and did not advise me to do unnecessary additional work (unlike another plumber who had looked at the job) and charged very fairly and reasonably for the work. I have gone through 5 plumbers previously and would recommend Wm Branch and Son above all of the others!"

"<p>Professional work and attitude.  Arrived on time and completed work in a timely manner.  Family owned and operated.  Mom took my call, quoted price and scheduled work, which was performed by their son, appropriately dressed.  Professional appearing truck and signage.  I'm sure there are cheaper water heaters and cheaper options for installation (including DIY), but we wanted it done right, and I think Vessel's was a good choice for the job..</p> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Shepherdsville, KY

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
