"It was amazing!  I have never seen such tile work before.  Immaculate, I never realized how precise tile work can be pleasing to the eye until I saw this.  For some of the job the tile installers (Willie & McGyver) actually cut the pieces by hand.  This was for a 3 foot across circle I had done in contrasting tile colors.  The details of the tile work - like how each line lines up with others and the like - used a little bit more tile than I expected so I didn't have much left over but it is so beautiful.  They generally worked continuously without interruption (some other contractors jump around from job to job which makes it take longer) but these guys were at my house almost every day).  They took care to contain the mess and did not damage any of my walls or anything coming in and out of the house with debris or with the new stuff.  I trusted the owner (Paul) and I was right to, he kept his commitments as agreed upon.  I have been using my new bathroom for 2 months now and no problems have surfaced.

"It went great! I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Their sales person( Mr. Williams), met me at the house and showed me several ways to keep the cost down. I had decided on granite counter tops for durability and maintenance but knew very little about the product. Mr. Williams took me to the show room that they use and answered all my questions about the different grades of granite offered. We found a color that blended well with my flooring. I ordered  the cabinets  and was not disappointed, and they arrived on schedule. The installation of the cabinets and counter tops went off without a hitch. "We requested estimates from 2 companies, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Surfside Plumbing.  Benjamin Franklin responded punctually and gave us a written estimate.  We wanted to check prices so we called Surfside.  It took a couple of calls, but my husband finally spoke with the owner of Surfside.  He said it wasn't necessary to come out and look at the job and he quoted an hourly rate and an estimate of 1 to 3 hours to complete the job.  His estimate was considerably lower than Benjamin Franklin.  We told him we'd buy the sink and faucets and call to schedule an appointment.  Within a week we had both.  We called to schedule. 

The owner answered our call after several tries to reach him and said he would call back when reached his office.  No return call.  After a few days we finally called and spoke to the owner.  He said he would be out the next day.  He came out and suggested that the sink we purchased would not work well with our silestone counter top.  I agreed and we decided to buy a better quality sink.  Within a week we had the new sink.   Again we tried to schedule an appointment.  It took about a week to finally connect with the owner.  Our sink was finally installed.  The men that were sent to do the work did a great job.  And we saved a couple hundred dollars on installation.  Even considering the problems with scheduling, I think the owner tries to accommodate customers too much, we are very happy with the work that was done.

"It went fantastically well, It did not take him long to find the problem and then solve it. He came in and look under the sink. Went under the house found the pipe shook it and said here is the problem. Hr removed a section of the pipe and found the stoppage removed it , repaired pipe and sink workes like new. "We contacted THS based on an advertised special of a $4999 bathroom remodel and selected them after other contractors quoted us a much higher price for a similar service.  Matt, the owner, was slow to respond at first but helpfully guided us through purchasing the needed materials once we established contact.  The work began on time and demolition took less than a day, although rebuilding moved slightly slower than I expected.  The entire project took 7 workdays total.
Pros:
Luke and Carlos, our two primary service providers, were careful and clean each day.  I was able to continue to use the master bedroom each evening without a problem.  They went above and beyond, spackling nail holes from old fixtures and the like.  Matt did the shower tiling personally and re-did it when it did not meet his standards. They installed concrete board over the subfloor to protect against water and extra studs and braces in the shower walls,  which were upgrades from the original construction.
They dealt with normal complications (slight rot in the subfloor, need to adjust plumbing and electrical to accomodate new equipment) quickly, efficiently, and at a fair price.  At one point, Matt told us that we needed to buy a shower pan, but reversed himself when we reminded him that he had previously told us that it was covered under the builiding supplies.  They worked well around my desire to paint the room over the intervening weekend.
They worked independently and did not require constant supervision, but were happy to answer questions from me and my daughter as needed.  
The final project looks fantastic and is a considerable upgrade.
Cons:
My wife perceived that they did not give her the level of courtesy or respect that they had given me when I was onsite.  They would sometimes ask her to call me for a decision on an issue rather than accepting her judgment.  This was most evident when the house main water valve broke during the project, necessitating quick work by a plumber to keep the project on track.
