It cost us nothing and we have had their home heating service contracts for over 20 years.  They have NEVER ONCE not shown up or not helped and in the two furnace emergencies we had--they were here with in 1hr.

"UPDATE: This is an update to the review dated 2/7/2014.  Christian Heating finally turned its phones over to its answering service, which promptly delivered our renewed request for repair help to the Christian Heating team.  We received a return call from an employee using her personal cell phone within the hour (along with an explanation that their phones have been out and they have been experiencing a power outage), and a service technician was at our home within 2 hours and successfully completed the repair.   Accordingly, I've updated my overall ratings of the company.  As mentioned in my earlier review, we have been very satisfied with Christian Heating's professionalism and work product over a nearly 13 year period, and once we could make contact with Christian Heating, this experience was consistent with our historical experience.  Christian Heating should consider the fact that, especially when there are broad regional impacts from a storm, customers rely on companies like Christian Heating to respond quickly to loss of heat in their homes.  Not answering company phones (e.g., by re-routing numbers to working phones) or otherwise informing customers to set expectations that the company is unable to respond temporarily (e.g., via their website or answering service) is a major customer service issue.  For these reasons, I have kept the grades for professionalism, punctuality and responsiveness at a "B" overall.  Absent this issue, I would have given Christian Heating an "A" in every category.  Hopefully Christian Heating can use this opportunity to consider how to manage challenging logistical situations like this better in the future.  "

I have signed on with Marshall because they are honest, straightforward and do a great job. David was on time, polite, informative with recommendations and was considerate of the house as far as cleanliness is concerned. The recommendations are provided along with costs and an explanation of benefits, but you are given the information in a way that enables you to understand cost/benefit ratio and there is no hard pressure to engage in additional or unneeded services or repairs. The company is run as a small business where there is a personal touch to everything from scheduling through work conducted. Very happy with Marshall as a provider of their services - which is pretty comprehensive."
