Bob and his team worked very efficiently and professionally. And were always friendly and gave me great  instructions and information during and after the semi remodel.   The start of the project began with the electrician who installed the new vent/light for the shower and also corrected the electricity for an outlet(that was extra), Bob and his team then came in to do the tear out of the water damaged walls surrounding the tub down to the studs. The plumber was then scheduled to install the new anti scald plumbing after which the crew was back to refinish the tub from pink to white and then install new insulation, waterproof drywall and the new tub surround. I did purchase a new vanity and lighting for the bathroom which Bob picked up the vanity for me from Lowe's.  The last detail was his tile crew did a great job refitting the bathroom tile to meet the new tub surround.  My home was never left a mess, everyday they cleaned up after themselves and were usually always on time. This all took approximately 5 days. I am very happy with the results.

"I can't say enough about Tru Plumbing.  They are truly an A+ operation.  There is never a good time to spend money on plumbing, but Tru Plumbing made my experience much more pleasant than what it could have been.  From start to finish they were very professional and honest throughout the entire way.  AJ, Mike and Don were all so great to work with.  As a new homeowner, I noticed that my kitchen sink was not draining, the basement toilet was slowly flushing and the basement shower was backing up.  AJ and his staff came over and broke the news to us that we had several tree roots growing through our terracotta pipe in the basement. Mike and Don showed me proof by letting me look at the camera and the damage was easily evident. Instead of being money hungry, AJ offered me options, but also gave me his honest recommendation.  He offered to grind the roots up, but explained that this would not be a lifetime fix, but he recommended that they excavate in my back yard, install an outside trap and replace the terracotta pipe with new PVC pipe.  Mike and Don jack-hammered the floor up and took out the old pipe up my stairs in 5 gallon buckets.  They masked everything off and were careful not to leave what could have been a mess. They showed me everything they were doing along the way and were very willing to explain things to me. They did a great job patching the concrete and even replaced the pipe stack up to my upstairs bathroom since it was terracotta too. They did an excellent job and I felt so relieved when the job was finished and thankful that we went with Tru Plumbing.  It has been almost a year now and there have been no problems since. I would recommend Tru Plumbing to anyone who needs work done. You won't regret it!  My wife even mentioned to AJ that she thought our furnace wasn't kicking on. AJ offered to take a look and found that our furnace filter needed replaced. It was an easy fix, but just shows you how they are willing to go above and beyond for the customer."

"I called Ray around 9:30 pm and he answered the phone right away. I told him several lights had been flickering and when I had gone downstairs I discovered that the breaker box was emitting a burning smell. He said he would be right over. Ray arrived shortly thereafter and diagnosed the problem - Two bad breakers with loose tabs which caused arching and heated up the buss bar. Since the service cable was old and the panel had burnt buss bars it was necessary for these to be replaced. Ray did not have the components necessary to do the repair that evening. I told him that I had plans to go on vacation the next morning and now wondered if I could go at all or for it to be delayed (fortunately this all happened the evening before I had left). He said he would come back first thing in the morning to do the work so that I could leave for vacation but made sure it would be safe before he left. And, if I did notice any more burning to call him right away (which I did not). Ray and his co-worker arrived by 7 am and performed the work. In addition, Ray also installed a new light fixture in the kitchen (ironically, I had called him earlier in the day (mid-afternoon) to do this work but he was so swamped that he could not fit me in, which I understood completely and it was not an emergency. So, I had already found his company off of Angie's List at that time).  Anyway, all the work was  finished well before noon and it was now safe to leave for vacation. Ray was extremely nice as well as professional and I am very thankful that he could help me, even though he had a long day. Ray and his co-worker made sure everything was cleaned up when they left. I would not hesitate to call him again (and intend to do so since I already have another job for him to do)."

"I had been living with an ugly pink bathtub for 10 years. It would have been virtually impossible to replace - tiny bathroom, tight stairway, but I was hesitant to have it refinished as I had heard that the odor was horrible and that I couldn't use it for 2 or 3 days. (this is my only bathroom!). After reading a few reviews on Angie's list, I called Tri-Star - they returned my call promptly and explained the process in detail - also said I could use the tub after only 24 hours. I was able to schedule them on a Saturday - 2 weeks ahead of time - so I didn't have to take any time off work.

Rick arrived on time, was clean, friendly, courteous, and did a wonderful job. I am SO pleased. It did smell a bit, but Rick ran a ventilator out the window, and the odor was gone completely within a few hours - never horrible.

"Called about leak Sunday morning. Plumber came out Monday, determined it needed replacement and notified Choice, who approved claim and permitted plumber to order new water heater. Thursday new water heater was installed. Was kept updated every day by both Choice and the plumber. Workers left my garage clean and I have hot water. He changed out commodes/ fixed commode parts/ fixed be bathtub stop/ new kitchen faucet/installed a dishwasher. He is extremely reasonably priced n accommodating.
