"Choosing 4-Ever Water Tite came after an exhaustive process of estimates and research.  Learning about foundation and/or water issues is difficult . . . finding the best way to fix the situation is daunting.  By the time I met Bob Gray from 4-Ever Water Tite, I had met with several (at least four) contractors for repairs.  Previous estimates played out something like buying a used car.  Bob was completely straightforward in our meeting.  I never got the feeling I was being "sold" something I didn't need.   <br /> Because of the placement of large pipes in close proximity to the basement walls, extensive plumbing had to be reworked along with the waterproof job.  4-Ever Water Tite employs some of the best plumbers in the business.  I feel fortunate that they were the ones to do the plumbing here and will most definitely use them again when I rework my bathroom.   <br /> A crumbling cement porch was removed and replaced with a wood version, much more sturdy and appealing.  The stone driveway was replaced with a proper concrete drive; sloped and graded to (finally) divert more water into the street instead of the ground around my house.   <br /> The scope of work done by 4-Ever-Water-Tite is extensive.  I would highly recommend anyone needing waterproofing or any number of other jobs to be done to phone Bob Gray.  I've been through a lot with this project and I am appreciative of their time, professionalism, fair prices, and quality of work. <br />"

"I've had Paul out a few times to do different plumbing projects in my home. He does a great job every time and charges a fair price. I have him scheduled to do another job for me shortly. I always recommend him to our family and friends and he's done jobs for them too. Look no further, PP's Plumbing is who you want to use for your next plumbing repair!"

"The job was to repair / replace rotting wood on a hot tub gazebo. Some of the work was fairly involved; the wood on some roof boards was rotted, as well as on a sliding door. Al was prompt in providing a quote and doing the work. The work was well done at a reasonable price. I would definitely use Al again for repair work around the house. <br />"

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

"Good...the last time I had someone out is was an electrician and he replaced a ballister and tried to fix the bathroom light fixture but it was non repairable so I was given an allowance to replace it and now I have a cute light fixture all spanking new."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Smiths Creek, MI

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
