"From the moment I reached out for a quote to the final installation, the experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. Luis was our installer and he was absolutely fantastic — detail-oriented, communicative, and clearly takes pride in his work. One thing that really stood out was how clean he kept everything throughout the job. No mess, no stress — He also took the time to explain the benefits of the new unit, which I really appreciated. It wasn’t just “here’s your AC, see ya” — he made sure we understood what we were getting. The whole installation was done in a few hours; Fair quote, great work, and great customer service. If you’re looking for an AC company you can trust, look no further than Maypo AC & Refrigeration. We’ll definitely be calling them again!"

"Luis, the service tech, arrived on time. Was friendly, and professional. Pulled the cover off of the unit, pumped the freon? out, cut the lines. Moved the unit the 6 feet that I wanted. Soldered new extension lines on, moved the power box, then pumped the freon back in. Appears that everything is in working order. Very pleased with the job. Thought the price might have been a little high, but I believe the results were worth it."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"A team of three men installed a new furnace and connected AC in one day. Hoss led me through the process and kept in touch at all appropriate times. The installers were knowledgeable and thorough. I would hire this company again."

"â Tony was very professional. The system was delivered and installed in a single day. Tony had to make some minor adjustments to better allow for access into the attic space and did a great job doing so. He also did not charge for the extra work. When the work was completed Tony and his helper left the area better than they found it. The new system is working perfectly and we all had a great nights sleep and I know I will not have to worry about A/C for a very long time. â"

"Installer was prompt and professional."

"I felt like I was in good competent hands. They were very knowledgeable about my unit and the work I wanted done on my ducts and vents"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Work is in progress on a pre-owned a/c unit. They responded to my inquiry immediately and remained in contact with us until work to the start up of the a/c unit. They were fast and efficient and reasonable. Unfortunately, my unit needs further work and they are looking into possible solutions."
