They had a woman working with them she was wonderful, I was impressed! They worked from 7-6pm! They cleaned up after did a Beautiful job. "Eddie and Simon were fantastic. They did beautiful work; they did it when they said they would; and they finished promptly and did a good job keeping us informed of their work status. They did a great job of melding their new stone and brick work into the existing adjacent brick work. What especially impressed us was that we have a lot of plantings near the house, and we assumed they would get destroyed to complete the repointing of our foundation. But Eddie and Simon worked carefully around our plantings, and after they were done you could hardly tell the gardens had been disturbed at all. As we negotiated the deal with them, they gave us good references - including addresses of places they had already done similar jobs. They are not big into paperwork or contracts, which can feel risky. But we documented everything in email exchanges, and they performed exactly what we had discussed."

"We received quotes from 3 companies. Edson was fast at responding and showed up right on time to do the estimate (he originally gave us a quote for 2 rooms at $950, but rectified that and charged us the third room at cost). He gave us a quote within a few days and the work was started and completed with a week of making our decision to go with him. He showed up on time to make sure everything was set and introduce us to the painter (I can't remember his name!).  The work was done in 2 days, which was amazingly fast. The guy who did the painting was very friendly and respectful. He also did an great job cleaning up. After Day 1, he moved all our furniture back into place so we didn't have to deal with it. It was like he was never there! I really appreciated not having to re-arrange our bedroom to sleep at night. The bed and everything else was already put back into place. 
I also trusted Edson's opinion on paint color. I really wanted our nursery to have horizontal or vertical stripes. I asked him what he thought and he gave me an honest opinion, but also said in the end, we can choose what we want - its totally up to us. The house is old (1890) and has walls and floors that are uneven. I was set on using stripes, but he explained that it might look too busy (the room actually has 7 walls). I talked to him at length about this and in the end I chose to paint the room one color. Well, it looks amazing. He was right. 
We are very satisfied with our experience and should we need more painting, will hire again!

"Chimney Chap did an excellent job replacing the termination cap on my Vermont Castings gas stove at a reasonable cost. The two technicians who performed the work were very professional and worked hard to overcome some unforeseen installation difficulties. From my initial e-mail to the installation of the cap, Chimney Chap was very responsive. Meanwhile, some other companies I contacted were unresponsive and less interested in performing a small installation project. I will surely contact Chimney Chap, Inc. in the future if I experience any problems with my gas stove."

"I received quotes from several landscaper/hardscapers for my house project that involved installation of pavers for the driveway and walkway. Additionally, I wanted to install a retaining wall with steps leading from my wallkway to the driveway, and installation of new sod. I ended up going with Masstone, because the price was on par.
