The price we agreed upon was reasonable, and he appeared promptly the following morning and, after explaining a bit about wasp/hornet behavior, he completed the job quickly and efficiently. "I recently called Viking Pest to re-bait my rodent stations in the garage and outside. When they arrived, they refused to do that and told me that since I have a dog, their company policy no longer allows them to. I had the dog when I started service with them. In fact, 2 months prior to their policy change they sold me 2 outdoor bait stations for $75. So basically, they would like me to spend more money and buy into their Smart Rodent technology instead, as their only option claiming it’s safer. If they were offering it at the same cost then that might be an option but it’s not the case. I called multiple times asking for their service manager to call me as I was upset. Each time customer service would say I’d get a call within 48 hours and never did. I guess since Viking is owned by Anticimex a large corporation, they’ve lost sight of customer service. I am very disappointed with Viking Pest, I would not recommend them. If I could give the no stars I would."

"Stay away from these people. After 21 years as a customer, we accidentally missed one bill (a whole $71 bucks1) and without a phone call, letter or anything else, they turned the account over to a collection agency. The account was brought up to date via our online banking account but.... Cooper is either too cheap or too inefficient to electronically link to Wells Fargo so the bank has to mail them a paper check which can take 7-10 days to arrive."

"We contacted Critter Control to remove a raccoon and her kits from our back patio after being told they would provide a free estimate. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Two technicians arrived and immediately began the removal process without explaining the scope of work or providing any estimate or pricing upfront. The service itself took approximately 30 minutes, after which we were presented with an unexpectedly high bill. Given the lack of prior communication, we felt pressured into paying for a service we had not agreed to at that price. While we are grateful that the raccoons were removed, the job felt incomplete. No cleaning or sanitization was performed, leaving us to address contamination concerns on both our main floor and back deck ourselves--adding further time and expense. Additionally, we were told this was the only service of its kind in our area, which we know not to be the case. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company."
