"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"The thermistor on dryer was faulty. While he examined it, he found that one of the seals was tearing. The technician asked us if there was any leak we had noticed. We said no. He showed us the damage and asked us if we wanted to get the seal replaced too. We said yes. In addition to the initial service call, the cost of replacing the faulty thermistor + the torn seal came to approximately 280 dollars or so. This was in addition to the approximately 100$ for the initial call. We thought this was to our satisfaction. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous.

"Without a moments hesitation other than to say hello Tom went to work reassuring me that he knew exactly what the problem was. Within moments Tom had not only fixed the problem, but threw in a couple other "quick tips and repairs" to boot! He charged me less than what he'd quoted and off he went...a few moments later, Tom called to say he wanted to check one more thing "just to be sure I could do laundry later with no problems" (Gee thanks Tom! - kidding!!) Anyway he came back and it was clear to me: Tom cares that his work is thorough and that his customers are satisfied. I hope my washer never floods again but if it does Tom is the only repairman I will call. They completed the job in less than one day and even hauled the old unit away. When the initial inspection of the unit was completed, the technician discussed all of the possibilities with the repair. He was honest with me and suggested replacing the unit and the furnace as well while he was there. I like that when he gave me the estimate, both the technician and I signed it. This was all at his suggestion, which I appreciated. Overall, it turned out very well.

"It went ok. They were fantastic at first. But the aftermath left unclean lines and we felt they got lazy at the end of the job. Not to mention rude by the end. We asked them to save pur front porch light, so they tossed it into our garage and broke it. The contractor suggested we close up a doorway from our laindry room to kitchen since it can be accessed from the 1/2 bath, this made for cabinet space in the kitchen. Then we all noticed that the washer and dryer would not fit through thr doorway left. He says" a good contractor would have notice that too" then charged us $550 to widen it.
