"My wife and I purchased a charming brick ranch home from the 1970s with dreams of transforming it into our ideal living space. Our first project was opening up the kitchen/family room to the living room by removing a load-bearing wall—definitely not a DIY job. We posted our project on Angie’s List and were soon contacted by Isai Huezo, owner of Huezo’s Construction LLC. Isai visited us the next day, and his estimate was so reasonable that we eagerly hired them on the spot. On Monday, a professional crew of four, led by a foreman, arrived promptly at 7:00 AM and got straight to work. They were not only highly skilled but also incredibly polite, keeping the work area immaculate during the demolition. By the second day, the team had seamlessly removed the remaining 2x4s, installed a robust lintel beam, and perfectly matched the drywall and trim to the rest of the house. We also had an outdated picket wall around the basement stairs. Isai recommended modernizing it with a sleek 3-foot wall, and it was completed within the three-day timeframe. Thrilled with their exceptional work, we discussed adding a dream screen porch and deck. The estimate was too good to pass up, so we went ahead. The results were nothing short of spectacular. The screen porch was beautifully integrated with the roof joists, and the deck, built on sturdy 6x6 posts and attached to the house, was a masterpiece. The porch featured custom wiring for lights, a ceiling fan, and outdoor floodlights, with a stunning tongue-and-groove pine ceiling stained in a glossy walnut finish. The craftsmanship was top-tier, and the crew's professionalism and courtesy made the entire experience a delight. Encouraged by their success, we tackled our outdated 1970s kitchen next. Isai returned to vent and wire the microwave, install LED lighting, and add a sconce light. He even refinished the ceiling and windows. After removing the cabinets, Isai didn’t miss a beat, finishing the ceiling, painting the trim and windows, and installing a beautiful tile backsplash. When we realized our old appliances didn’t match the newly renovated space, Isai went above and beyond, helping us select and purchase new appliances and offering to install them. Huezo Construction exceeded our expectations in every way with their exceptional craftsmanship, incredible value, and the wonderful camaraderie we developed with Isai and his crew. "Randy Hudson did a great job of repairing/replacing a rotted deck post on my dad?s deck.  He was very good at assessing the damage and work necessary to correct the problem.  He was good about explaining the process to us so everyone understood what was to be expected.  Randy was very friendly and completed the work as planned and scheduled.  He also did a great job of installing new lattice for the deck skirting as part of the project.  I thought the price charged was fair and reasonable and we have asked him to give us an estimate to pressure wash and paint the deck and other house trim.

"Paolo is an amazing contractor. I'm usually pleased if a contractor is responsive, or honest, or creative. Paolo is all of the above and more. He did an amazing job of completely rebuilding our master bath. He had great ideas, was extremely patient and flexible and wasn't satisfied until we were. His craftsmanship is beyond reproach and his crew were wonderful to have around the house (especially his father who works with him). If you can get him on your schedule, I recommend him without any hesitation.."

Contacted All American painting & Home repair company based on Angie's list reviews. Mr. Wayland (Eddie) arrived, gave us an estimate, took his time explained everything he was going to do and how he was going to preform the necessary work that needed to be done. We had a few set backs based on the  weather as this was all exterior work. Paula(Eddie's wife) kept us informed , excellent communication, as to when he would be arriving and when he was not. Eddie and his assistance Orval are hard workers, very detailed, very professional. Windows look brand new.

"After a bad storm caused a very large Maple tree to fall over on to the corner of our home and caused the whole corner of the roof and the siding to be damaged we needed a quick repair. Gabriel and Gail was the answer to our prayers! They came out and did the estimate, but because they are so talented when they came out to do the job it actually didn't cost as much as it could have. They repaired the roof the day after we accepted the estimate. We didn't have to be at home because it was outside. But they were on time. They were able to repair our gutter, and match the paint perfectly. They did the same with the siding! So no need to use a new piece. Today the house looks like nothing every happened. Wonderful company, fantastic job done. Very polite and professional.

"I was nervous about doing a remodel. After reading great reviews I selected DIY Kitchens. My kitchen remodel exceeded my expectations, far more than I could have ever dreamed. Not just because of the high quality of products used. No, I can buy pretty countertops and just the perfect sink at any big-box store. What made this project special were the people DIY have on their staff. I met designer Pasha after sending an email from their website. I knew as soon as I met her that he would be the one who could design an amazing new kitchen for me. That's exactly what he did. He used her considerable talents and skills to imagine a kitchen I could NEVER have conceived. In fact, I looked at the first design and said, "That's it!" Next, I met Jeffrey, their contractor. This is a man who has never uttered the word, "no." He only says, "We can make it happen." Once Anthony came onsite, the project ran like clockwork. His team arrived on time each day, dealt with a curious homeowner (me) who was onsite as well, and left each workday with the site neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them demolish my kitchen and build a new one! Contrary to other reports of people who have experienced general kitchen remodel with different contractor nightmares, I can't tell you how grateful I am to Diy Kitchens Baths that this project went so smoothly. I rarely had to make any decisions, I didn't have to worry about mistakes or errors, and best of all, they finished the project when they said they would. I paid a considerable sum, but I got exactly the kitchen I wanted and the whole experience was amazing. I am posting before and after photos for you to see. The only problem I have now is my bathrooms are jealous of the kitchen. I'll have to hire DIY Kitchens again in about a year to make sure my bathrooms feel important again!"

"Working with Proper Contracting was a constant struggle of false promises, lack of respect for our home and yard, unfinished projects, and highly inferior painting. We constantly had to go behind their work only to find problems (we are still finding them). Initially, we felt that things went well, but they became less motivated to provide quality work as time passed, eventually leaving with an unfinished punch list. It took a month to complete and fix painting that was highly inferior. We talked many times with the contractor about the painting and it didn't improve. Paint brushes were cleaned in my kitchen sink, and my furniture and floor had paint on it, which I couldn't remove. We were initially told that the project would take 3-4 weeks, and it took 8 weeks. Constant promises of "you will be back in on X date" never materialized until we forced it. I still lose sleep and worry that I'm going to find a major issue that wasn't done correctly. These are nice guys who work hard and are motivated to provide renovation services in our area. Unfortunately, their system of quality and follow up falls short. They addressed and fixed some major problems in our home, many of which came up unexpectedly. However, the aspects of their work I mentioned above made it a very unpleasant experience."
