"Justin and Cam, the technicians, did a great job. We have an old farmhouse with a very strange configuration of partial crawlspace and partial full basement, and water was leaking through the fieldstone foundation wall from the crawlspace. They quickly diagnosed that the problem was coming from 1 or 2 zones of the hot water radiator heating system, and they were able to shut off those zones to stop the leak, while allowing the house to still use water for sinks, toilets, and showers. We'll have to do more work later to replace pipes to the radiator but, because they are hard to access, we need to plan ahead for some construction work. I'm fully satisfied that these guys were able to find the problem and give us even a temporary solution that allows us to have our working plumbing again without the basement getting wet. Would definitely work with them again."

"Rob was fantastic. i had an 80yr old cast flange finally rot out at one on the slots. Called Rob, a rough estimate was provided and time of arrival established. He was early, well spoken and cleanly dressed. He applied boot covers as it was wet/snowy outside. He replaced the flange and poured a new joint, adding additional support by anchoring the flange to subfloor. This was not done previously but again the house is 80yrs old. We had purchased a new toilet and asked him to replace our old one with the new. This was not part of the scope of work, but he did so without complaining or trying to reschedule. He cleaned the area and it looked as it did when he arrived. Everything looks great! New toilet works great! No more wobbly toilet. Highly recommend his work."

He broke the bad news that the boiler would need to be replaced relatively soon, but understood my need to plan for it and was helpful in providing information without "mansplaining." He talked through options and answered questions. When I was ready, I didn't hesitate to go with Jeff and crew for the replacement job. The quote was fair and I trusted him and his team to do right by me for such a big investment in my home. The system that was installed is practically a work of art! They even tucked the new water heater around the corner from the original spot, creating more space in the main walkway area of the basement. They were communicative, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. It's been 3 months and the new system seems to be working beautifully. Looking forward to seeing how it performs and saves on heating costs during the colder months. I'll keep calling Griffin Heating & Plumbing for all of my needs."

They fixed the issue and it cost far less than I thought it would. I've also used them for a couple heating repairs, annual furnace cleaning and a/c maintenance. I am about to hire them again since the a/c system is dying and it will need replacement since it's more than 20 years old. "Very professional in setup of appointment. Office made it clear that the upfront charge was $85 for the visit and the technician would provide an estimate of the work if any and the $85 would count against the work. Technician arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He quickly identified that the 240V => 24V transformer was the root cause for the loud humming noise, and recommended replacing it. He gave an estimate of $468 for the work. I showed him that the transformer itself was less than $50, and I could not understand the estimate. He showed the company estimate on his iPad. I declined the recommended service. I got the work done for a little more than half the estimate from Milltown from another service provider. I would suggest that Milltown revisit their estimation software. I have rated as "Fair" only because the technician was very professional."
