"We had a leaking pipe that supports our swimming pools pump system. Very professional, polite, and ready to do the job Immediately. They were promptly at my home when they said they would be and had all repairs done within 2 hours. "We called Giglio and they had two repairmen out to our house on Easter <br /> Saturday in less than an hour.  The two men were very nice and quickly <br /> fixed the issue.  They were unable to unclog the sink manually and had <br /> to run a machine down the vent pipe from the roof.  This immediately <br /> opened the drain and they recommended pouring bleach down the sink once <br /> per month to help dissolve the build up accumulating the in PVC piping.  <br /> Great experience and will definitely call them again should we have any <br /> other plumbing issues! <br />"

"Prompt excellent service at a fair price. Have used Robert Brown many times. Never an issue. Robert even called and came to my house on his own time after hours to advise me before work was even agreed upon. And the office personnel are all top notch as well!!! Don’t use any other plumber. They are the best !!"

"The warranty company sent out the company, and they sent that company. They came out two times. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend them. I wouldn't use them again, unless I have to. The problem kept persisting, every time they would fix it. It happened again in three months time. They were professional."

"My husband chose this company and I think they were referred to him. The recommendation was great and the owner of the company is a good guy. They came quickly in a truck that had their name on it, had on company work shirts and were very professional. The workmen were prompt and timely. They diagnosed both issues very quickly and that's what we like."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Shreveport, LA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
