"I highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions. They are first class, outstanding company that did wonderful job for me. The quality of their work was excellent, and their price was excellent. I did a major master bathroom upgrade (completely new shower, new soaking tub, new Wayne's coating). I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. "Excellent customer service. Excellent finished product. West Shore Home came to install a shower in one bathroom and bathtub/shower in another bathroom. Their customer service is top tier! They took extra caution to ensure they didn’t damage or disrupt my home or other furniture as they carried their equipment in and out of the house. They encouraged me to see the progress as they worked. (Nothing to hide is always a good thing.) When I expressed surprise and disappointment with one aspect of the design, they immediately began solutioning the issue."

",Was some confusion about whether a Virginia-based franchise of this firm should do this work or whether my Virginia zip code falls into the service catchment of the Kensington, MD franchise, which apparently it does.  Was also some confusion about time of appointments.  Franchisee's published telephone was not always staffed.
That said, the quality of work couldn't have been better.  The seams at the drain between paint and chrome are still holding up.  The serviceman did neglect to warn me that since a new chrome drain sleeve would be fitted inside the old drain, the drain entry diameter would be smaller and any hair/lint traps might not fit.  I had to buy a new loose-fitting trap for the tub.
This was the second time I have tried to have this work done.  The first time was a handyman I use who apparently bought a kit from Home Depot.  He charged me several hundred dollars more than Miracle Method, and the job lasted several months and started to peel.

"We needed our bathroom remodeled because of my wifes medical issues, which required our Jacuzzi bathtub (with a high step-over side) removed and replaced with a walk-in shower, with a bench. I did Google/Bing searches and came up with 3 potential companies. The first company I spoke to was Five Star Bath Solutions (in Annapolis, MD). I set up an appointment to have Kirk Hoffman (Design Consultant) visit. He arrived exactly on the time agreed upon and spent a couple hours, plus, going over everything possible, answering every question that my wife and I fired at him, in addition, he recommended a number of pointers (pro and con) on doing the job that we had not considered. He carefully listened to what we were looking for and had in mind, and why. Kirk went into the bathroom and took all the necessary measurements, when completed he explained exactly what the job requirements would entail (in complete detail). He then went over a brochure (of the Sentrel Bath System) showing us different optional design patterns available which have the appearance of a natural stone look with no actual grout lines (making it extremely easy to clean and maintain), and then went into full detail (step-by-step) of how they would do the job; from taking out the old bathtub to installing the new walk-in shower. Kirk went over cost (giving us various options that would either decrease or increase the final price) which, in turn, gave us the option of mixing and matching the exact design we wanted. He did not push us into going with something we did not want â meaning no high-pressure sales pitch to buy or add this or that. My wife and I were extremely happy with Kirkâ s presentation. A couple days later we had a follow-up visit by Rob Santin (General Manager and Owner). Rob went over all the work to be done, did a personal walk-through double-checking everything Kirk had laid out and, reaffirmed how it would be done and when (initial time frame was to be in/around mid-September). He said given my wifeâ s medical issues if they could, they would move the installation time frame up. Turned out they got an opening and installation was done the 3rd week in August, which was fantastic. A lot of hard work was done by the crew over the next 2 ½ days they were here. Led by Bo (Burkman) who was not only an excellent leader/manager of personnel as well as time - but he also was right in there helping with; the tear out of the old bathtub, moving things and cleaning up every day. The remainder of the team were - Tyler, Jason and Jay. Not only were they â allâ extremely professional but they were also very personable and pleasant. Before starting they laid down several runners so no damage would come to our carpeting. The pride they all took in doing their job definitely showed in the meticulous finished product. As the installation progressed, Bo always consulted with us to make sure things were going as planned and that when it came to putting in the final items such as; the grab bars, the bench and even the corner shelf's to hold soap and shampoo, up until the last minute he explained and recommended, from his experience and expertise, where and exactly how they should be installed. In the end they all turned out to be in the perfect position. Bo even modified the size of the bench â after it had been initially installed, which to say the least was no small part â it added an additional 2 to 3 hours of unexpected work he did on his own. Bo always said â I want to make sure the customer is completely satisfied, with the finished product. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the bathroom remodeling done by - Five Star Bath Solutions. "The owner of Stone Depot, Nick Papas, offers hands on professional service.   I am a realtor, so great service is part of my professional standard and I appreciate it in others.  Nick was always available by phone and was very responsive.  I was nervous about selecting my granite, and I changed my mind at the last minute.   Nick was very gracious and allowed me to select another granite that I preferred. His team arrived for the installation on time and did an outstanding job.  The was a minor issue with caulking, and Nick sent someone out the next day to finish it off.  I could not be more happy with my granite and Stone Depot.  I was advised to personally select my slab of granite - which I did.  All granite is different, so that was good advice.  The location for selection was in Sterling VA, which was great for me since I live in VA.
I also checked out Counter Intelligence, but found the salesman was not very concerned and did not go the extra mile to get my business.  I  had to drive all the way to Silver Spring MD to look at samples of granite slabs.  That was to far to go.  Also, their price quote was higher.  The smaller company atmosphere at Stone Depot was a much better choice for me.  I highly recommend them!
