Against my better judgement, I left him a check and the work when I quickly looked at it, it looked alright. upon further inspection, they had messed up and they had put a big hole in the back of the concrete patio. They had fixed it but they did such a lousy job of fixing it, I had to hire another contractor and pay him $200 to fix what they did. The concrete he did for my driveway is already cracking and he just did this work in 2013. I would never recommend him to anybody. He came in over budget which was alright, I accepted that. He did come back to the house. Where I asked him about the area where ti look like he had thrown grout or something in this big hole it had been in, I wish he had told me upfront where we put a big hole in the base of your concrete and this is what we did. He didn't tell me, I found it and asked him about it. I said, I think that should be smooth though and that looks terrible. Oh no, I'd leave it along. I just went and hired a guy that's sort of an all-purpose handyman that I knew. It took him four hours and he charged me $200 to smooth over the big clump of it looked like grout to me that the guy had just put over to cover the big hole. The only nice things I have to say about the man is that when I asked him questions, he did come back to my house and looked at the concrete. He was polite but I just wasn't happy with the work he did."
