"Les returned my call and actually suggested that I could call another company that they recommend for potentially quicker service for drain issues. I wasn't in a hurry (out of the house) and had been happy with Zell in the past so I decided to wait (the wait was due to my needs as well as their availability). Les made two calls to confirm and showed up on time. He went right to work and got through the gunk that must have been pretty far down the pipe (traps were clear). He gave me suggestions for keeping the drain clear in the future."

"We had Marsh Heating install a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. They were very professional and had good pricing. When we had a problem with our rebate from Lennox, they took care of it promptly. We would certainly recommend them."

"I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the excellent work and professionalism that Zach and Josh provided during my total HVAC replacement. They arrived right on time, were respectful of my home, and clearly take pride in what they do. The quality of their work is outstanding—the installation looks clean, well-organized, and professionally done. It’s not just functional, it actually looks great too. You can really tell the difference when you compare the before and after. I also want to give a special mention to Josh for coming out initially to do the assessment. He was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and took the time to explain everything clearly. It really gave me confidence moving forward with the project. He even came out again on the day of the installation to check on how everything was going, which I really appreciated. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the effort they put into making sure everything was done right. I would absolut"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Taylors Falls, MN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
