"From the initial estimate to the completion of the work, it was a pleasure using Ken and his assistant Warren. They started when they said they would and stayed a bit longer than planned to make sure they had thoroughly cleaned up around the work area. Prior to starting the process, they placed protective covers and tarps over the adjacent floor areas. They were careful to contain the grinding slurry using a wet vac to remove excess material. It took repeated passes with the finer and finer grit pads to achieve the final results, but my wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. Even the other tradesmen working in the house were impressed with the improvement. "After initially contacting flooring direct online, Hiro G. came to my home on a Saturday to take measurements he also brought samples for me to view. My master bathroom is where I started as its a smaller area and wanted to get a feel and see how well the install would go. "When they got here, it went great, but getting them here was a pain. They got in, they got out. In 40 minutes, they were done. They did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves. They set up everything well. They were very professional. That part was great. Getting them out here, that was a mess because their office situation is a complete total mess. I called them up one week prior. Basically, the under-mount sink was coming up off of the granite and in order to put back, get the granite company out to use a special epoxy to put it on. I didn't know that so I called the plumber first and they were like, "No you need to get the granite company". So, I called it on to the granite company. I asked them, "Can you confirm on Monday when you can be out there and I'll be out at my house". And they said okay. They didn't call and confirm on a Monday. Then, we tried to reschedule. So, I took a morning off from work. I'm at the house and probably like 9:45 almost 10:00, I called them up and said, "Hey, where are you guys? Are you guys showing up? Are you lost or something?" And they're like, "Oh, we didn't realize it was today. " We got rid of that girl who was taking down notes but she wasn't really taking down notes. But, what about next Tuesday? So, I took another day off from work, another morning off from work. They showed up about that time. It was really a disaster for them to come out here."

"Fernando and his team was prompt and on time for the agreed appointment time. Burgess Carpet cleaning uses a dry cleaning process.   I was very skeptical of a dry cleaning product as this was the first time we used this.  They explained the dry cleaning process very thoroughly and compared it to the other water  / steam pressure and oxy cleaning type systems.    The product that was used is called Host, looks like moist sawdust and is dispensed by hand distribution.  They used a brush type machine that works the product deep into the carpet.  I took many pictures during the work process as I was amazed at what I was seeing.  At times they used a citrus based enzyme cleaner with a pump spray.  We had pets about 8 months ago but the stains from them remained. My carpet is a very light colored cream carpet throughout our home and is 10 yrs old.
I have had the carpet cleaned by an oxy clean system, but the wear tracks and stains eventually reappeared.  I also had cleaned the carpets twice using the rental machines from the home improvement stores before Fernando was hired.  Again, the stains were reduced by cleaning, but they remained and the odors remained.
The final step in the process involved vacuuming the Host product.  I could not believe that the carpet was looking white clean as they vacuumed.  Fernando mentioned that the carpet was now restored to new condition and that is the best way to describe the results.  The carpet was not only white clean but the fibers were not laying down flat any longer and the carpet felt very soft with bare feet.  
We plan to use Burgess Carpet cleaning annually to keep the carpet looking and feeling clean.

"First off the job is done, mostly. Still have to fill in some voids in the grout but I won't let this company back in my house. Scheduling - absolutely terrible. Workers were rarely on time. After a major install issue did not coordinate a new day to show up. Just decided they would show up to the house without any precoordination. Very unprofessional. Price - reasonable. Quality - very average. The first tile install was a mess. Not level in any plane, just a mess. Randy agreed and took the first install down to redo. But then the tile wasn't available. Plumber they brought, though a "master" plumber did not have the tools required to complete the potfiller relocation. Not necessarily the plumbers fault as we were installing in a stainless steel panel over drywall. But, Roma should have provided the required tools to get the job done. Luckily I took the day off and did quite a bit of the work. Realized after he shut the wall the plumbing was not leak checked."
