"I was debating between two different landscape companies, and chose Outdoor Xscapes because they were a one stop shop! They had everything organized. Our pool is an oasis. Joel was my sales person and he was always checking on me and was at my job often. I highly recommend them!"

"California Pools was phenomenal to work with! From our designer Brian Magrath who listened to us and helped us stay within our budget, to Myra Olson and Vina Ortega who coordinated the project and kept us informed, to Matt White who was our construction manager and would stop in multiple times to check on the progress and do quality control. Our project included the pool, turf, extending the patio to the full length of the house and granite stone. Communication is KEY for us; they always promptly returned calls/texts and answered any and all questions that we had with patience. From breaking ground to our pool orientation was less than 3 months! I will recommend them to anyone who is thinking of putting a pool in, and if needed, will definitely use them again!!!"

"When we called, an appointment was made for Jon Riep to come review our project. He came on time (it was a few days after the initial call) and reviewed the project with us and took some measurements. In a few days we received a cost quote for the work, and then we signed an official agreement for the project.  <br /> Jon contacted us right away about scheduling, and we were pleased that even in this very busy time of the year for landscapers and even though the Christmas holidays intervened they were able to start in a couple of weeks. <br /> The team showed up promptly on the appointed day and got right to work. Everything was done in a week -- there was a day of rain that caused some delay. We were very impressed that even small details such as taking care of a damaged post in one of the low-voltage lights that wasn't being replaced were remembered and dealt with. We did not have to remind about anything except a minor thing with the irrigation system. <br /> Overall, it was a very positive experience. Think Green people up and down the line were pleasant and professional. This is by far the best experience we've had with landscaping companies. We are wishing we had known about and called Think Green for the previous two projects... <br />"

"I contacted Scott from AZ Dreamscapes primarily to built a fountain in our yard, but also to replace a dead tree and fill in some areas in my yard that had sparse gravel. He was very responsive and came out within just a few days to check out the space and take measurements. We told him that we wanted a fountain that made a lot of ambient water noise while being minimally attractive to birds (our cats are murderers). I mentioned a pondless waterfall but he thought that might be too big for the space we wanted so he suggested a 3-column fountain made out of 3 different-sized column-shaped boulders. We agreed with his recommendation and paid him 50% of the total. As he was preparing to build the fountain, he determined that the column design would not be nearly as loud as he thought and it would not meet our desires. So, he told my fiancé he would modify the design at no cost to us such that it would meet our desires. We honestly had no idea what it was going to look like, and were kind of laughing at ourselves that we were paying so much money for a "mystery fountain". However, we trusted that Scott would make something amazing. We had to leave town for a couple days and came back to the fountain mostly completed. Oh my goodness, it is amazing. He went back to our original desire of a pondless water fall, getting boulders that matched the existing boulders in our yard and making it an appropriate size for the space. We could not be happier. In addition to doing the work agreed to in the contract, he also recognized that the original irrigation system for our plants was not up to par (agaves and cacti receiving as much water as leafy plants like the bougainvillea) so he capped the cactus drip lines off (with our concurrence of course) at no cost. For the new tree, he installed 36" deep wells on all sides that the drip lines run into so that the tree's roots will be encouraged to grow down, not out. We are so happy with his work and will definitely contact him in the future if we have any more landscaping needs. <br />"

"We worked with Rob and Devin to redo our front yard. Rob created a great design, Devin made sure that work was progressing well, the workers did a great job of building our new yard. This was a big project. Retaining walls had to be removed, new walls built, and a lot of dirt hauled away. There were no surprises along the way. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Rob even had a great design tweek in the middle of the project that made a lot of sense and made the yard look even better. Before and after pics attached. Will look even better once the new retaining walls are painted. We are very happy with the work and the way our new front yard looks."

"They were very professional and responsive to all our concerns and remained flexible about changes that developed during construction. The bar was built a little higher than we had agreed to, so our construction manager gave us a discount on a higher foot rest and kick plate. We are very pleased with the final result and can happily recommend Hawkeye Landscaping. (See pictures)."

"So I put off for a month calling an electrician.  Our living room outlets stopped working along with half of the kitchen outlets.  I knew it would be excess of $1,000 and dreaded calling.  Desert Mountain came in and did a great job.  recognized the problem pretty quickly, changed out some burned out outlets that had or had not been pig tailed drawing too much current to the other outlets when high powered devices like the toaster oven was on in the kitchen.  replaced 3 outlets and wired them correctly and diagnosed a couple of other things that we will address with Desert Mountain in the future.  They were great.  "

"Grill looks and works like new! Grill and cabinets below are rodent proofed with all the spaces being blocked so they can no longer enter. Rather than spend 3K - 5K on a new grill installation I am able to enjoy our outdoor grill for $300.00. Great job and no mess for me to clean up.  Work area was clean as a whistle! On time, on quote, great results! <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Tonopah, AZ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
