"Job was to fix leaky faucet. Had to replace faucet. So I bought 2. Then discovered water behind wall with a meter. Called copper state remediation to dry out after dismantling vanity. Now I need to have a new vanity built/ installed. Time: 4-6 weeks, depending. Second job was to replace leaky bolt in guest bath toilet. Toilet was too old and bolt too rusted. Bought new toilet. They will install it at no charge. Good. Now, toilet flange too rusted. House is 36 years old. Water found under toilet outside of drain. Copper State called again. They wanted to tear out drywall to make sure no moisture behind wall. I refused and asked them to leave. Meanwhile, city reported I had a leak in service line in front of house. I don?t have a problem with Custom plumbing, who is doing a good job and giving us a free toilet installation. I will take their word on the moisture issues but I don?t think it is necessary to cut away drywall to verify there is or is not water. Copper State showed me a meter reading but that was on the floor, not the wall. I?ll find someone else to replace my vanity. This triad of disasters will cost me over $10K."
