Small jobs welcome

"Rob was great to deal with. The project was to raise 2 large porch slabs that had settled due to the original contractor failing to provide adequate support at the house wall edge. Rob showed patience and experience in carefully raising the large slabs, preventing any damage to the slabs or to the wall stone at the rear of the porch that was at risk if the raising was not done right. I'm very happy with the finished job and Rob guarantees his work, offering to return at no charge if any unexpected settling in the future. A quality contractor. I would highly recommend his services. By the way, I found him via Home Advisor. Thank you!"

"Matt was very professional. He found the exact source of our water leak, replaced the flashing on the chimney, rebuilt the top of our chimney and added a strong concrete cap. Matt cleaned up after every day of work and answered all of my questions before and during the job. He did the work about 3 years ago and the leak hasn't returned. I would definitely hire him again ."

"Very well. I had doors that were not properly installed by big box store, despite asking their so-called contractor to come back to fix properly several times. 24/7 Handyman took the time to fix them properly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"We had a plain ranch home. We contacted Penn Contractors regarding an addition (found them on Angie's List). Penn designed a 10 x 26 addition to include: vaulted ceilings, extensive windows, laundry room, and totally new kitchen.
Penn Contractors are excellent people to work with. They are extremely considerate, very detail oriented, and are excellent craftsmen.
The entire addition is SPECTACULAR !!!
SO MANY THANKS TO : Shawn, Jeff, Ron, Tom, Ed, Cody, Zack, Gina, Karen, Bruce (owner), plus all of the subcontractors.
The addition is worth every penny.. WE ARE SO HAPPY.... !"

"I didn't like it at all. He was not actively engaged as far as I'm concerned. He had a couple of guys who showed up here and showed up with the wrong materials at first. They had to redo some work late in the Fall that some of the molding that he did came undone. Every time I called him, he seemed annoyed that I called him."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Topton, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
