"Mark did a EXCELLENT job on our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen was old and very dated. He opened up a wall between kitchen and dining room and turned it into open concept. AWESOME results. Took everything down to the studs and turned into a BEAUTIFUL kitchen. We are very pleased with the results. His professionalism was excellent and the job was done on time. He also fixed my downstairs bathroom that another contractor messed up. He will be back soon to do our upstairs bathroom. Really looking forward to that. Thanks Mark for the wonderful job you've done."

"Just did an amazing job remodeling our entire home in perkiomenville PA near the Green Lane Park. He gave us our dream home just as he guaranteed he would. The work was done in a clean and timely fashion. His years of experience is apparent from the design work all the way to the completion of our two-story master bedroom/garage addition upper level deck. Including two bathrooms and a kitchen. Amazing company!!!!"

"Dan and his son are an absolute dream come true and no one in our family will ever hire somebody else. Are basement was completely unfinished, and in fact had a lot of our junk all over, and Dan was able to listen carefully to our ideas and thoughtfully make recommendations as to what would work best. The end result is honestly so much better than we ever imagined. Our kids now spend a lot of time in the basement playing games and making memories. We could not be happier with our decision to trust Dan, and in fact we miss seeing him like we did during the project! After finishing our basement, all of our friends asked who was able to do such a good job, and subsequently we've referred Dan and his son to our in-laws and also our good friends for major projects. Look no further, this is the team you are trying to find!"

"Mark and Judy at Central Lending were the best that I have worked with in the industry, I absolutley would recommned them for your finanacial needs for your home. The were understanding and had all of the resources that we needed. They both were extremely professional and definately know the business. "We used Angie’s list to find a contractor to work on our main floor and second floor bathroom (and some other minor work). After several contractors visited our home and told us that they could not convert our main floor bathroom to a full (or quoted an excessive price for the work), we ultimately called CM Contracting after reviewing their ratings on Angie’s list and other sites. In our initial phone consultation, both the head contractor (Chris) and his son (Tyler, also a licensed contractor) were professional, prompt and timely with scheduling a visit. Within 48 hours, Chris and Tyler arrived to the home, accessed both bathrooms and discussed the scope of work required. Unlike other contractors who came up with a number on the spot, CM Contracting said they would research our building plans and get back to us with a number. After a week, we were contacted with a quote and request for a followup meeting. After meeting face to face to discuss the price, we agreed upon the work and a start date, and they acquired all permits needed for the scope of work. At the beginning of work, Tyler took incredible steps to ensure dust and debris would be clear from the main floor by taping paper down on the wood floors and vacuuming/sweeping at the end of the work day. Chris was in constant communication throughout the construction, regularly contacting us to give updates and discuss any minor change in the scope of work. He also did a great job managing his subcontractors, which resulted in a timely completion of the work. His electrician Ken did incredible work with wiring the bathroom and fans in the bedrooms. His plumber Don also did an incredible job removing a non-functioning water softener, plumbed two bathrooms, and installed additional control valves. Most importantly, everyone involved warrantied their work, which is a huge financial relief when choosing a contractor for your home. Overall, we were happy with the daily interactions we had with CM Contracting and their subcontractors and we are very happy with our experience."

"Project Mgr. Chris Burton was excellent to work with. Very responsive. He told us that it would take about 8 weeks for the windows to come in. I called the office after 8 weeks and the windows were in. Odd that no one had called me to tell me this. But we were able to set up the installation date very quickly. All the work was done in one day by the foreman, Jan, and one helper. They were very neat in removing the old windows. No mess was left outside and the outside capping looks very nice. Windows were installed neatly and caulked on the inside. No carpentry or re-painting was required by me at all. The windows look like they have always been there. For the money they seem to be of good quality. Floors and carpets didn't appear to be tarped completely during the installation. The new windows were cleaned after installation. But I found it odd that they asked for my Windex rather than having their own. They vacuumed somewhat at the end of the day. But I had to wash footprints off my kitchen floor and do a lot of sweeping and vacuuming around entrance doors and under the windows after they left. That said, it seemed like a small price to pay for the price and quality of the new windows and installation. My wife and I are very happy with the way the project turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Thermal Quality Window and Door Co."

"I am pleased that my bath rooms are much nicer than before the project. I was disappointed with the way it was completed. I asked as the onset the approximate time frame and I was told two weeks. There were a few change orders but by their own time estimates it would have been a 3 week project. It took 6 weeks and it ended because I just could not take it anymore. You start with Alex who I do believe would like things to go well but he subcontracts and then really loses control. The contractor works usually 9-12 or 9-2p. In the six weeks, there were only a couple of days that were complete 8 hour days. Beware of the term contractor grade in the bid. I was told that this was a better grade of product but it was not. I ended up purchasing the majority of the products used and was told that I used very high grade products. My products were just purchased from Lowes and Home depot and were not the "top of the line". Also, there was very little concern over respecting my house. The project was extremely messy--not just construction dirt. I fully expected plenty of dust and dirt but there splattered paint. It is obvious when I clean my "high grade" floor tile, which I do by hand, that a lot of paint was spilled and not completely cleaned up not totally noticeable until I cleaned it the first time. In addition, the tub has two chips, again not noticeable until I cleaned up the mess left behind. My hardwood floors are scratched. The excuse for this was being passed on to a sub-subcontractor plumber. I don't know who did it I just know that it is done. The offer to fix it was to "try" to cover it up. I live in the country and trash removal was a mess. They did not provide the dumpster that they said would happen. The trash was piled up outside the doors and I am still picking up pieces of dry wall, pipe, broken fixes, etc. Be sure to demand the dumpster. I was told it could not be delivered to my house this is not true because I have had large dumpsters in the past. I believe this was a cost cutting on the part of the contractor.
I grade them an overall C based on how bad my bath rooms were and the fact that they are now better. I am just warning you that you need to be aware of the process concerns that I have listed above. The 6 weeks cost me additionally, paying a nephew to sit with the house the majority of the time since I have limited vacation time and not expecting 6 weeks. It is difficult to take vacation time from work and have them work just 4 hours. I began thinking that this became a money pit. The cost above is not inclusive of all the expenses of this project.
I have waited to write this review to make sure that I am fair in my response. I have given it time and all of the above is a fair "nutshell' evaluation of the project."
