"Recently, we worked with Major League Plumbing for a sewer replacement project. They are professional, and they know their job very well. Their pricing is also quite fair. In addition, they are polite and respectful in their communication. We are very happy with them, and we will continue working with them. Highly recommended!"

"This is the first review I ever wrote, but I’m really impressed by the work and the people of Gladiator Repipe. The Company: I felt that Gladiator Repipe takes pride in their workmanship and tries to provide the best service they can. They are pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend them. All their workers seem to be very well trained, capable and having a lot of experience in what they do. During the job we ran into a snag when the wall patching seemed very sloppy to me (and I’m very picky), but the way Gladiator Repipe handled it (they came back and fixed everything) really impressed me. Everyone has a bad day sometimes or something doesn’t quite work out, but how a company handles it tells me what their real quality commitment is. And after this experience, I felt that Gladiator Repipe truly tries to give you quality service and not just get it done. The Project: We had our two story house repiped, triggered by a possible (turned out to be real) water leak in the wall. We also replaced the water main and ended up having the drain lines replaced as well, since they turned out to be leaking under the house. The cost of the whole project was roughly 15k, including a new water heater as well. The project started with a visit from Yuri who explained everything in detail. I liked that he tried to explain the process to me, not trying to push me to buy something I don’t need. The repipe was all done in one day with a crew of 6 people showing up right on time, starting by putting down drop clothes all over the house and taping plastic tarp to the walls. When they left in the evening, everything was done, the house was clean and the water was running (takes about a week before you want to drink it, but that was mentioned in the material I received before the project started). The next day the inspector came and there were no problems with the inspection. On the 3rd day the walls were supposed to be closed and, in our case, we also had the drain pipes replaced. As mentioned above, the wall patching was not quite what we had expected. It is worth mentioning too though, that even though they had routed the water lines differently, they removed the water heater and opened the wall behind it for us, because that was the wall we suspected water in. Unfortunately it turned out that there was mold in the wall, and James (one of the owners who came by) generously agreed to leave the wall open and come back to close it once I had treated the wall. That’s before I had looked closer at the patch work and found that it was very sloppy and there were a couple of other issues they would have to come back for. Once I had treated the wall and explained to Yuri what I wasn’t happy about, we scheduled a day where they came back and redid almost all of the drywall work and a few other things. So it took one more day, but everything is finished and well done, including having given me a chance to treat and fix my wall. I’m very happy that we choose Gladiator Repipe for our project and would highly recommend them to anyone with similar needs (hence writing the review ;)"

"I am quite happy with the electrical outlet and the bathroom fan, and I would hire him back for electrical work, as I think that is his specialty. His carpentry skills aren't the greatest, but they are not bad either. The first thing I asked was for the medicine cabinet to be centered over the sink, and it is about 1 inch off. At least it is hung level, though! The other disappointment was that he reused my 28-year old hinges and door knob on the new door. Also that the door frame was not cut correctly on one side and is about 2 inches short on one side. This could have been fixed easily by cutting a small piece of the extra wood that was left in my garbage. At least the door seems to be hung properly, though, so it was not a bad job, just not the greatest for the price. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Tres-pinos, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
