"Kinetic Gas, and specifically Daniel, really treated us very well. Even though their schedule was full preceeding the Christmas holidays, they fit us in making my wife happy - her parents were inbound! The work was excellent and completed in less time than estimated. Professional, pleasant to work with and fair. Highly recommend these folks!"

"I had two other companies come out to try to fix our fireplace and they couldn't figure it out. Jack came out from Largo Piping and Gas and saw and fixed the problem right away. They were quick to return my call and punctual for the appointment.

"LCD readout on the heater did not work and hence I never knew what temp the heater was trying to reach.  Paul offered me the option of a used part at half price or a brand new one at regular price.  I now can set the temp of the water without guessing, and don't have to turn the heater off when the water becomes too warm.  Visiting family is happy.
I asked Paul about the pool pump as well.  He gave me advice on when to replace it, but did not try to find more work himself, or expense for me.

FAQs for gas piping projects in Trilby, FL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
