They quickly determined that it was a rusty gas pipe that became rusty due to a leaky tub above that had been repaired several years earlier. The furnace people were completely booked for the next 15 days and recommended that we call Bob Larson Plumbing. They turned off the gas and left us with no heat or hot water. This was at 10:30am Calling Bob Larson Plumbing they responded immediately with a tech to be onsite between 2 and 4pm. Later they called back and was able to have a tech onsite by noon. Two techs arrived at noon, did a estimate, went to the store to by a needed 12 foot pipe, did the repair and we were back in heat and hot water by 4pm.
