I was actually away from home when the furnance stopped working.  I was in the hospital for several weeks and a friend was watching my home.  I had left a list of "Emergency telephone numbers" for her just in case something happened.  Provost Plumbing was on the list.  When she realized that there was no heat in the house, she called Provost.  They came immediately and made the needed repairs. My friend commented on how courteous and professional they were (Russ Coombs was the plumber).  They fixed the problem right away.

"The job went very smoothly overall.   There are always minor problems that have to be worked around during the job.   We discussed how we thought the job should be done.   I felt he had a good technical construction knowledge and I liked his ideas on how to fix the problem.  I stayed out of his way but was available if he had a question.    I had agreed to get rid of the debris when he first looked at the job, and that was one thing that helped keep the price very reasonable.  We had to look through all the board and batten siding I had to find the best pieces.  Some was no good but I still have some left for future small repairs.  Being retired was good because I could separate the stack of siding, get debris out of his way, and I could see exactly how it was going back together again for future reference.  I even took a few photos.  He finished in one day.
