"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"Before hiring LevelLift, I contacted a friend of mine who owns a Structural Engineering firm, but only work commercial not residential.  So after receiving at least (5) estimates, we agreed that LevelLift was the company to hire.    <br /> Met with Paul Mauer of Levelift Systems, he was very nice, patient and professional along with his team.  Received a proposal for the work noted below: <br /> The work in the basement  included but not limited too grout beneath concrete, excavate & installed timber walls, <br /> raise window well & installed standard home-improvement store grade cover, raise grade, furnished & installed discharge pipes for down spouts, installed seven steel beams, new interior drainage, repaired damaged mortar joints, installed 12" high cast-in-place concrete curb between steel beams and they took care of all the Montgomery County permits and inspections.  In addition, mobilization, site preparation and  furnished & installed discharge pipe for sump pump. <br /> In addition, Paul recommended a very good Structural Engineer to take care of the structural drawings. <br /> The contract payment terms were broken down into four payments with the option of using major credit cards and we have a ten (10) year warranty. <br /> Paul and his team were very responsive, punctual, and professional and the quality of the work was excellent.  We have not had any problems in the basement since 2013.  They are highly recommended. (A+) <br />"

"Luke and his team installed 2 patios for me and they did a fantastic job! We are so thoroughly impressed with the quality of work; you can tell that Luke takes pride in what he does and we are just so grateful. From our initial consultation to job completion, the process was professional, smooth and timely. These patios are the first phase of our backyard project and we look forward to working with this company again when we install the next phase."

"Grimes Masonry performed above my expectations. I’ve hired them for several jobs over the years, including interior and exterior masonry. Kenny Grimes was on site for all work and his attention to detail was equal or better than my own, which is what you want with any construction project. Note: This review covers several jobs, so I’m listing a round number of $40,000 as my estimate covering all work."

"Great! Kevin Ayres, President of this company, took his time and identified a couple of problem areas where the patio met the foundation and made suggestions before continuing to raise the patio in these areas. He was very professional, helpful and nice. He and his crewmember cleaned up the area and I could not tell they were there, except for having a level patio now. I am so glad I decided on mudjacking with concrete mud combination vice poly foam jacking. The price of poly foam is more and I did not know how much would be used under the slab, so there was no controlling the cost per poly foam companies. Plus, poly foam is a faster process; I was concerned this product could widen the cracks."

"This was a fantastic company! Mr. Stevens is an artist with fencing. Not only are all of our gates, self closing, Mr. Stevens leveled out the area so that they would close and open perfectly. All the vertical slats are perfectly aligned all the way around our yard it matter where the elevation changed. The vegetable garden was fitted with a baffles which has totally foiled pest like raccoons and other animals from getting into the vegetable garden. I love the way my yard looks with the fence because it sets off my flowers perfectly. A fantastic job and a fantastically reasonable price."

"It was about two weeks of work, and the result looked better than when it was first installed. All was very professionally done. Only one issue was not resolved, and I do not hold them at fault. The concrete floor of the carport was heavily stained from oily substance that seems to embed itself into the concrete. They did everything that could possibly be done, and the next step would have been to remove the surface of the concrete and replace it. I told them they had done enough, and to stop. Most of the cost was covered by insurance, but with a substantial deductible."

"J&M  did a very creful, conscientious, professional job. They prepared the area very well and made sure that the concrete was installed on a solid base. They asked important questions along the way about the sizes and locations to make sure we agreed with the details of what they were installing. The finish on the concrete came out perfect and they cleaned up afterwards leaving the area presentable. I would highly reccomend them. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Union Bridge, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
