Small jobs welcome
I am originally from Benson. My dad ran a boxing and siding crew for many years and I guess it stuck with me. I love helping people get their projects done in a timely manner and at better than reasonable prices.

"I would like to give a shout out to Eric and I-construct for the new awning. They installed this for us in less than a day! He showed up for the initial inspection on time and gave me a quote on the spot. It only took a few weeks to get the material and was out in a few days at the time he said he would be on site to install. We were a little leary of what a "metal" roof would look like, but we could not warrant paying so much for a wood and shingle "shed" roof. We couldn't be happier with the appearance and workmanship. They did an awesome job. Glad we found them on FB and decided to use them for our roof. Thanks Eric and crew!!"

"I purchased a $99 Big Deal on 03/31/2015, but the service was done on 07/28/2015. This was due to difficulty in scheduling. When workman was available, I was not. And when I was available, there was no workman available. My suggestion to customer is to purchase a Big Deal when you know you will have some time available soon after purchase, or service provider may be too busy.
Also the Big Deal was for 3 hrs of Handyman Service, but I was informed that 2 handymen would be coming. Also that there may be extra change if workmen had to purchase extra material. My suggestion to customer is to think of all materials that may be involved in your project and have them on hand just in case they are needed. Send a message to the service provider to make sure of what the workmen will need and what you may have to provide. For example, the correct tools for the job of removing a built-in shelf were needed for my project. The workmen had their tools,e.g. reciprocating saw, pry bar, etc., but I did have to provide drop cloths, box, trash bags, and broom/dust pan. They had a shop vac for clean-up, but I provided broom and dust pan to remove large pieces of debris not handled by shop vac.
My appointment was scheduled to begin between 8:30-9:00. At 8:24,I received a call confirming my appointment and to tell me workmen were on their way. Phil and Steve arrived at 9:00. They were very pleasant and professional. After a short conversation and time to inspect the work, they began removing the shelf.
Initially, I thought it was not necessary to send two people to remove one shelf, but once Phil and Steve began the removal, I saw that it was more complicated than just sawing some areas and pulling it out. There was thick layer of drywall, OSB, and cornerbead They seemed to take care in the removal in order not to damage the surrounding structure and a water line.
Once the removal was complete, they cleaned the area with their shop vac and my broom. Using the drop clothes I provided, made clean up easier and protected my wood floors. They placed the debris in bags and a box I provided, and placed them in my garage. They said they could haul away the debris, but that would be an extra change.
They left at 10:06.
I really appreciate the positive, professional attitude of Phil and Steve. They were persistent in completing a job that seemed to be simple initially, but proved to be a bit more complicated. They talked about ways they could be of service to complete the next step of my project without giving me the "hard sell".They showed respect for me and for my home. And I liked that.

I initially contacted Ralph's Electric for estimates on replacing a security flood light and installing one. After speaking to him on the phone he sent an estimate within 24 hours. My wife and I decided it would be better to replace some of the interior lights first before the exterior.
Within in the next week our outlets in the master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bathroom and hallway stopped working. I contacted Ralph again to come out to fix the problem. The next morning he called me to set up an appointment at 11:30am. Ralph called twice before he arrived because I did not answer the first time.
When Ralph arrived he immediately went to the problem outlet and replaced it. He checked several outlets to inspect the metal contacts. He went to the breaker box and noticed two of the breakers did not match the type of box. He explained since the box is possibly as old as the home built in 1972, they should match. He said that now companies build more compatible hardware. Ralph showed me the differences between the breakers and how one could arch, then could cause a fire. He diagnosed the electrical issue, replaced one outlet and two breakers for a reasonable price. Ralph explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it, he would stop and answer all of my questions (I asked a lot of questions) and he never became irritated. He was very professional, efficient, and thorough.

"I would have rated WS Builders an "A" but this contract ran over the quoted completion date by almost 3 months. While poor winter weather was partially a factor, as were some problems with owner-supplied materials, they got behind from the start and never really caught up, Then winter weather set in. The work of their subcontractors ranged from excellent to just OK. While their project manager was extremely pleasant and professional, we feel he may have been stretched too thin while managing several jobs.
