We learned that our son is sensitive to mold and found that our existing units, which were 15 years old, had mold in the plenum. "They first brought in and attempted to install the wrong (lower level) model but the job boss caught it and they brought in the correct one. Then they couldn't get the thermostat to work but came back the next day and got it working. The next week the thermostat read 3 degrees higher than the set temp, next day it was a 4 degree difference, next day the screen went blank. They came out within an hour and fixed it but didn't seem to know what was wrong. Seems like the problem is with the American Standard product though. Cuccos was quick to fix the problems and very polite and clean. But also, the Angie's List page says they give a 10% discount to seniors and I didn't get that - when I asked, instead the owner offered 5 years free maintenance."

"It was fine. It was same day service. There were additional fees because they had parts set for my circuit breaker. For the price, it seemed to me that it was pretty expensive for what they had to do. I thought that the parts that were installed were overpriced. It was pretty obvious when the guy left here that he was trying to sell me an upgrade to my electric service for the entire house. So he quoted me a couple of different ways to go but they were in the thousands and thousands of dollars for the upgrade with the circuit protector like a lightning protector and I thought that that was pretty expensive to so I elected not to do any of that and everything has worked fine since then. I thought the guy was professional and he did a good job for what he was supposed to do but it was pretty obvious that he wanted to do additional work and left me with quoted for some upgrades that as turns out I don’t really needed. I wouldn’t probably use them again because I found other electricians that I can rely on."
