"The work was fantastic! Craig's team did the entire job in about 3 weeks time and there was a lot to do. We regraded our backyard as it has dips and valleys that caused large pools of water to form. He then added on a 600sq ft patio, stepping stones, gravel in our side yard landing, added sculpted beds to the outer edges, planted privacy and cherry trees and put in drainage from our home to the yard to help with any excess water issues. I can't say enough about how wonderfully the work turned out. We love our backyard!"

"Shovels hit the ground October 21, 2014.  By the middle of November it was getting cold, and by December it was downright freezing. Brian?s crew showed up regardless of the weather at 7:30A and were very appreciative of the tea that we offered to take off the morning chill.  By January, due to the weather, work basically stopped.  They had been able to install all of the pavers, the steps, seating wall, and pillars ? but no blue stone caps.
As most of you will recall, it was a long cold winter, which seemed to last forever.  By May, when we still didn?t have a definitive date to resume work, we were getting inpatient.  To Brian?s point, all the nurseries were delayed in getting plants and the entire season was basically delayed.  Our drop-dead date was June 21st for a graduation party for our daughter. About 3 weeks before, Brian and the crew returned.  Brian?s wife did an awesome job overseeing the planting of several hundred perennials on the hill.  Blue stone was coming in, we were just waiting for the counter top.   Unbelievably, when they went to the foundry to pick it up, the fork lift dropped it shattering our much anticipated blue stone to bits!  Brian called me and assured me he was on it and come h*** or high water everything would be done in the next 2 weeks! And it was?
Although there were some annoyances, which we think could have been avoided with a bit more oversight, like the electrical socket having to be moved from a place that was an eyesore, Brian responded and in the end addressed everything. Glad we got the 2 year guarantee on plants.  Some will need to be replaced and the sod isn't looking great right now with all the heat.  But we'll want to call Brian back anyway for fall and spring maintenance.

"Mike and his team are true professionals and is THE TEAM you want doing your project. Mike came to our house on a Sunday (yes, a Sunday) to discuss and perform a walk-thru on our project. Everything felt right- the conversation, the design, just everything. Mike knew exactly what pavers I wanted- he didn't even need to open the Cambridge catalog (but did anyway to make sure we were on the same page). It was like he read my mind. There was also constant communication and quick response too! The day arrives and I am so incredibly excited. The guys showed up and got right to work. By mid-afternoon, the installation was complete and they were cleaning up. It was incredible! This company and everyone that works there are honest, hardworking people that take pride in their work and treat you like you're family. I am very hesitant when it comes to hiring people to do work at my house as I've had a lot of bad luck in the past but Home Improvement and Design have proven to me that good people and companies still exist and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with them from beginning to end. I will absolutely hire them again and you should too. You won't be disappointed."
