"I contacted Home Genius Exteriors after getting multiple roofing estimates. They helped me design an architectural shingle system from Owens Corning, including their Platinum warranty. They were open to negotiating, and I received a very good deal—likely because they had a gap in their schedule that they wanted to fill. The workmanship and materials were excellent, and their communication was responsive throughout. I was pleasantly surprised by the ~90 photos they shared during the project—helpful for both communication and documentation. They promised the work would take one day, and indeed it did. One unexpected change: they substituted CertainTeed DiamondDeck for the Owens Corning Deck Defense underlayment that was in the contract. Fortunately the warranty remained valid, and based on my research is comparable to Deck Defense. Cleanup was outstanding—only tiny bits of plastic and one nail. Both the onsite team lead and the project manager were professional and easy to talk with"

"We had originally received an estimate from Mr. Stewart in February for sealing our roof but for reasons beyond our control we needed to postpone getting this work completed. Fast forward to 7 months later, I reached out again to inquire about the same scope of work and pricing and to my surprise they honored the original estimate from months before. (I don’t condone trying this because you may not get the same results we received 😁). Nonetheless, they were able to schedule us the very next day and prepped our roof for the task at hand. We were provided with updates throughout the day as job progressed and even updated us as well. They truly exceeded my expectations with their ongoing communication and professionalism. They never cut corners to rush to another job nor did I ever feel that they were not spending the necessary time to ensure that the work on our job was thorough and complete. "I have used National Roofing before for a roof leak. They are a bit higher priced than other companies I have used but what you get for the additional cost is great quality and service. Robert Martin is very responsive to email and texts. This time I had a minor leak in my outdoor porch ceiling and decided it was time to fix that part of my roof (a flat roof and part of a pitched roof). The roof repair went well and it happened fairly quickly but about 2-3 weeks later I noticed rotted wood under part of the new roof. I texted Robert on a Saturday afternoon and he called me back less than 1 hour later. I wasn't expected such a prompt response. And honestly, another roofer might have taken his time to get back to me. Even though it turned out that the leak was not caused by the work they did- and it required taking off part of the new roof to get to the damaged wood, Robert did the work quickly and he did not charge me. The ceiling is painted bead board and I was concerned that the part they were going to fix wouldn't match what was already there. Robert talked me through what he was going to do. The finished work looks great- like nothing happened. I offered to pay and he refused. That is the kind of person he is."

"We were looking to increase our attic insulation and met The Home Doctor Company at the Capital Remodel and Garden Show in February 2025 as well as some other companies. We consulted with several companies and decided to go with The Hone Doctor for our attic insulation. The company rep, Chris Lear, was very good explaining what they would do and why our attic needed R-38 insulation. I knew we needed more but did not realize our attic was only R-13. I have worked with numerous contractors before on projects and felt this was a really good company plus they have great reviews. The installation of the attic insulation went very well. They do install siding as well but decided to put this project off for now. Would highly recommend this company."

"Spent ~$50,000 on a new roof with them. Thought everything went well. Years later discovered that they had not sealed the cricket on the chimney well enough. Discovered water coming in and eventually rotting the wallboard, studs, etc. Had to replace entire wall. Called them about the issue, they sent a rep. He said it was the chimney's fault, it was leaking. Not so, opened the wall and ceiling and had another roofer come spray water on the chimney, nothing, no leak. Then sprayed water on the cricket, water came in. Exterior Medics would not admit any fault. Had it repaired, no leak, no problem since then. Had recommended to a friend, never gain, he also had a bad experience. DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK AND A COMPANY HAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK."

"Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."
