"I was happy with an initial quote, but I should have asked for more detail for what *I will get it all fixed* meant. Bathtub had a leak, was quoted $1200 to fix it and get it all right. They repaired pipes but not the leaks in the tub (shower head and knobs leaked a lot). So when I asked why he did not fix the leaks in the bathtub, because I thought he said he would fix it all, he said that was not part of fixed the leaks in the tub. He ended up saying he would repair the knobs and it wouldnstop leaking for free because of how he worded his quote. He pulls them knobs off and comes to me and says they are so old and wont go back on. I now have to pay $600 to replace the knob/showerhead system. I am left with no choice since he had taken it off and said it would not go back."

"Tim did a great job with the replacement of our water heater. Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving he moved some of his other appointments around to come to our home that afternoon. Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. Tim was here until after 5:00 that evening, with the result that we had hot water over the weekend."

They both wanted gas and the old one was electric so we knew we would need to get someone over to run gas lines if they bought a gas range. We called a few local plumbing companies and Coastal Carolina was the only one that was willing, or able, to come on such short notice. After getting their quote we decided to go ahead and hire them. They came on time, worked steady and not only installed and tested the gas line, they fixed a plumbing problem while they were there. They were courteous, diligent, and fair with their pricing. Because of their good work we finished getting the kitchen in order that evening and my son fixed us breakfast on his new gas range the next morning!"

"Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

As a general contractors, they were great coordinator and communicators, even taking great pride in making sure we were apprised of all decisions. "I had a very good experience purchasing my windows. My Ecoview windows were purchased when the original windows purchased for the front of my home exceeded my budget for replacing the remaining 11. I needed to find a suitable replacement window that I could get for a good price while still providing the same quality I wanted in a replacement window. After doing some research, I found EcoView (which I had previously never heard of). They came in a variety of sizes, are double hung, double paned with argon gas, solar reflect glass and high quality vinyl. I meet with Michael who I believe is the owner of this small business. They sell other things (remodeling, but I didn't have any of that work done).
He was very helpful with window selection (no pressure tactics) and got my windows ordered and scheduled for installation very quickly. I'm use to working with small businesses so if you need everything done "right this minute", it may or may not be for you. I like supporting small businesses and found them to be both very professional and thorough in the install. I like my EcoView windows far better than the more expensive windows which I believe were installed better. I would recommend taking a look at these windows (they won't disappoint).
